Any comparisons to 1984 are ridiculous, mostly because Orwell supported government healthcare. Repressive laws and class divisions was what he despised throughout his life. This bill is not either of those things.

I'm not loyal to a political party. I'm no supporter of the current health care bill either though I support unversal health care as a principle.

I'd be glad to give you the "liberty" of choosing under 1 condition. If you choose NO insurance then you get NO health care. Hospitals REFUSE you admittance unless you can pay FULL in cash. Otherwise, your "freedom" is nothing more than you being a FREELOADER and raising MY premiums because, unlike you, I choose to be responsible.
