Nice chops. Love the afterthought bubbles...gave it some comedy. I love your out of the box ideas even with traditional scales. Only one suggestion, shredder to shredder, try working some more slides and articulations into your improvisations...especially this style. This is the first of your videos I've checked out so I may be jumping the gun with that piece of advice. Great playing and great show of personality. Thank you for posting.

Actually, Santana was the first instrumental guitar player that i listened, and consequently was my first guitar hero and influence...

i think i was 12/13 and saw a "summerdreams" publicity spot with Santana playing on the beach, and all we could see was his shadow, his air floating in the wind and the neck of the guitar towards the sky...and i was just blown away with that...lol

Yeah me too man, Santana was the first guitar player that I've d ever listened in my life, and he inspired me a lot, I still like his music but the true is that he got stuck in time with his technique, which is very basic.

My Santana phase was really important, cause he played a lot of bends, pentatonic scale with some one or another note that, at that age, i didn't know what it was, and lot a melodic stuff very interesting rhytmically...

I started trancribing imediatelly "Europa", "Samba pa ti" and "Black Magic Woman"...lol

I'm not sure i did understand well your question...are you wanting to know what gear and setup i used...like compressor, noise gates and stuff?

or are you wanting to know about some technical aspects?

I do control my distortion by controlling the strings that i'm not playing...the lower ones with the palm of my right hand and the higher with my index fret finger...

This track is a minor blues in Cm, and i'm basically using Cm Pentatonic, C Eolian, C Harmonic minor and consequently G Mixolidian b9b13 (also known as G Phrygian Major)/ Ab Lydian #9, and some Whole-tone scale in that G7...Ah also EbMaj7, Fm7, Gm7 Arps and Cdim and Bdim at Ab7 and G7...
