Thanks. Recently I've been trying to gear through Normal. Best I've done so far is somewhere mid-chapter 04. Then again, I'm so into the routine of chaining things I find it hard to break off and simply try to survive, so that might make it harder. Hard mode, I haven't tried much, but I've never cleared the first level without continuing.

That was well done! I'm not this good, but I'm getting there. Interestingly I find Tageri's 3rd form easier than her second- I will always die there, but can sometimes bullet eat her third form and not die once. Also, the soundtrack to this game is absolutely beautiful. The whole game is, in fact.

I think Tageri's 3rd form is easier if you're just trying to get through it, but if you stick around for the bullet-eating points it gets difficult.

And I must also agree that this game is quite beautiful.

It takes a lot of practice to get through this. As of right now, I have just under 100 hours on my save file for Ikaruga, and it still takes me lots of tries to do as well as I did in the videos.

i dont get it tho. how come ur white but then when u get hit with black bullets u somehow dont die. i think ur invincible for a second aftr changing but i dunno.

I'm not sure where you're referring to.

One thing to keep in mind, though, is that your ship itself has an extremely small hitbox. You only get hit if a bullet practically hits the dead-center of your ship. So while it looks like you get hit, you actually could be perfectly fine.

Actually, Tageri isn't capable of eating bullets; she just has a lot of hit points (15 to 20, I think).
