I met Kukui on July 2008. He is a friendly bird that allow us to pet it. When he was told he was a pretty bird, he replied back, "I'm a pretty bird." He loves swinging around the branches, and getting attention. He is also mischievous by twisting and attempting to pull out nails that made his perch structurally sound. Shortly after I left, and another guest tried to interact with him. He started to scream non-stop. Very funny.
