putting my hands behind my head doesnt work, i like to put my hand behind my neck and push slightly upwards to support my neck, otherwise it begins to ache
I would prefer to pin my feet under the settee to do the sit ups. I find it difficult doing these with my hands behind my head. What does everybody else think?

I do like 60 sit ups with my hands behind my head, and I dont have any problem with it. after those 60 sit ups, I do 50 side to side sit ups and then 30 push ups. I'm only 15 so i'm gonna add 10 to each of those every month ;D
Where the hell do they get these people from? 'Expertvillage'? more like 'villageidiot' - some bloke in a ropey lounge teaching you to do wobbly situps - just sad.
Thanks. Another good one is to lie flat on your back, and lift up your legs (keeping them straight) vertically, and then drop them back towards the ground, and just before they reach it, stop them them from hitting it, then repeat. :)
na , these just work on your abs (six pack)..Do press upswith your hands slighly wider apart that normal if you want an effective way to make your chest stronger..but before you do it, look at a video to teach you how to do them with any pain..

This guy does horrible situps. You need something on your feet for leverage and pputting hands behind your head can cause neck problems
