  • Best pistol ever made, with the Glock a very close second.

  • That is not The Cure. Its shitty Creed!

  • Thank you, as good as animation can be for assembly of a 1911, and how the gun functions. Thank you for your generousity, so all of us can admire your effort, must be the best educational animation out there on the 1911, well done!

  • who the fuck designed the animation? fucking perfect

  • song name ?

  • @CoDMW2eXpeRt100 higher by creed!!!

  • good ass song

  • now I know why some guns jam....

  • how many day or month have you work for this animation?

  • name of the song ??

  • @TheZeakQ "Higher" by Creed.

  • For first animation: WHAT ABOUT THE TRIGGER? YOU DID NOT FORGET THE TRIGGER

  • Gun porn

  • Wow, that gun has a TON of parts. How does the 1911 compare in complexity to a Sig P226 or an H&K USP?

  • @muddstrosity nothing compared to them xD

  • @kuan926 I don't understand your post. Are you saying that the 1911 is LESS complex than a Glock or an H&K? I don't think that's true.

  • Just incredible.

  • WOW! It's Beautiful! I'm crying so far amazed with this music! by the way, which one's?

  • It's not exactly true that the 1911 was designed to stop Moro tribesmen. It is true that the U.S. army commissioned .45 calibre because smaller bullets did not have sufficient stopping power against the Moros. It was assumed that there would also be warriors and other opponents who would also be so tenacious that soldiers would need such a calibre.

  • AWSOME MANN NICE ANIMATION!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • @awsomeguyak47 you overdosed of MW3 dude? learn firearm reality

  • Whats the song????????????????

  • Ahhh. so this is the software they used to design the Colt M1911. I never knew.

  • That isn`t A colt 45 Dumbasses

  • @awsomeguyak47 yea, its a colt .45 1911. whats the difference u troll

  • Tits. Thank you so much!

  • why the fuck creed?

  • piece of art

  • If you turn the sound off it is indeed the best Colt animation available around... Thanks for posting it.

  • The colt was the first to manufacture the 1911?

  • @maroth3 yes...well I'm sure John Browning made a couple of prototypes...but the patent was sold to colt by Browning. Just like the colt 1903 and 1908 the 1911 was a John Browning design. John browning had a great relationship to colt. Of course later he had to go to FN in Belgium for someone to build his Browning Hi- Power. So yes, Colt was the first to make(other then prototypes) the 1911,1903,1908. And FN was the first to make the Hi-power. That pretty much covers his designs :)

  • For all you people who want to know what this song is

    it's Higher by Creed

  • so this sint the cure is creed but which song is?

  • now i can build a 1911 from welding steel..

I'm sure a comparable amount to the number of wars the USA had.

  • how many fucking wars has america had?

  • baby Jesus approves this presentation...by the way...looking for a Llama modelo IX-A manual. Bought it used for 150.00 but no manual.

  • What name of the music ? please... *-*

  • @mrbigtian

this summer? dude its fall and soon it'll be winter

  • @MohawkSgone i meant 2012 summer...lol

  • you has a win a go od hand

  • cool?

    is super awesome cool!

  • i don't understand, when you pull the trigger and the bullets flies out how does the top of the 1911 push back by itself?

  • @AdventCloud5

The force of the gasses that propelled the projectile forces the spent cartridge against the firing pin block, causing the whole action to start over again. Hope that helps!

  • @soulstealr0357 Who's using my account for realz. I'm not even putting thiese comments down

  • wtf is with utube its creed !

  • nice a

  • AWESOME VIDEO!

  • NO TOP COMMENTS!?!?

  • a explicação é muito boa

  • WW2 Marines treasured this pistol when fighting Japs in the South Pacific. It was ideal for close quarters combat. And its stopping power is devastating. I wouldn't mind having this bad boy in the face of a banzai charge.

  • @ItNice26 id want to have it cause my grand father told me that pistol puts fist size holes in them japs

  • I love the 1911!

  • OH SHIT THATS A REAL GUN

  • At a second thought i do like this song... might be that i've seen this video so many times that by now i dig the music:)

  • so much parts..... i need 3D printing to get the parts

  • what program did you se to create this simulation? im a pistol designer, but right now i am using a shitty CAD program...

  • Awesome vid, don't agree too much on the music, but, what the hell... the video is great:)

  • CREED, HIGHER? WHY? DUMP the music...

  • cool i got 1 bb gun too

  • Great concept, information, and editing; a wholly magnificent video.

  • i got shot with one oh these:D

  • I hate Beretta pistols, idk why, i absolutely love the look, but i hate the functioning mechanism. I honestly wished i loved them cuz they are gorgeous! but the cold .45 M1911 will always be my baby.

  • @armydude162 Wow....Gold plating or a gold mechanism? 'Cause a gold mechanism is pretty much shit. You shoot one time and the entire thing is completely FUCKED. Just stick with steel, man. Steel is strong, and doesn't make you a target for thieves.

  • ...if you don't like guns, don't get one!;if you don't agree with our 2nd ammendment rights, then begin a movement for a constitutional ammendment;if you believe in both and/or a total ban on guns in this country then maybe is time for you to get the hell out of our country!!

  • How very apt that the best gun animation I've ever seen has been done for the best handgun ever made. Excellent job well done.

  • Fing AMAZING

  • I was the 3,000 like :]

  • i hate it how ppl r trying to make the right to bare arms illegal thats so stupid >:l

  • Shitty music

  • @85grei Why every you tube video needs bad rock music, I'll never know.....

  • handguns are banned in the United Kingdom for public use, gun clubs etc, real shame

  • @FotoNathan1 How in the F***** did the Brits allow this??? I saw on youtube a few years ago England destroying MOUNTAINS of guns because the people turned them in. What were they thinking? Here in American they are trying the same bullshit but I promise , this is going to work out a little different. Im not saying that we are better than you because "we are you" or at least I am. My guns are protected for the very reason that my Gov may want to take them away. I say nnnNOPE!!!

  • what do you mean with moro?

  • @janmauricepogi The Moro Insurrection. The War the US fought from 1898-1902 on taking the Philippines in the Spanish American War.

  • @gillysampson69 why don't you just buy a colt .45 and some extended magazines to go with it?

  • very good job :)

  • dude u got too much free time

  • My God! This vid is simply beautiful. I love 1911's and I carry my Kimber Tactical Custom II .45 every day.

  • Can you play Russian Roulette with one of these guns?

  • @hcdub no revolver

  • @hcdub no u cant

  • The animation is made to a pin point accuracy. this video explains a Colt.45, infact a lot of hand held pistols very precisely. Good Work.

  • If I were to buy a gun and I had to chose between a Colt .45 and a Beretta 9 mil, which should I get and Why? I know the Colt has stopping power, and most likely won't go through the target, like the 9 mil does. But the 9 mil holds more rounds and the fact that the Army went form the Colt .45 to the Beretta 9 mil also keeps me thinking that the 9 mil might be the better gun plus it is a lot cheaper. Which is more reliable and practical? Which one should I buy?

  • @gillysampson69 buy yourself a cal.40 pistol, it has the stopping power and also holds more rounds like a 9mm, it's a combination of both

  • @violet0313 id have to agree

  • @gillysampson69

I have both and although i'm the biggest 1911 fan, i say beretta. its very user friendly, low recoil, and easy to disasemble. And if you like the style of the beretta, they make a .40 cal version called the 96.

  • @gillysampson69 the key word there you mentioned was "cheaper". That's why the Army changed. Colt .45 acp, best auto pistol of all time. That 9mm Para round doesn't do much compared to the .45.

  • @thesidewindersleeps Wrong. Nato standards and the fact most of the inventory was 50 years old was the reason. The 9 mm Nato is the round used So all Nations have common ammo supply.

  • @WALTERBROADDUS rofl...."most of the inventory was 50 years old" Idiot, so they stopped making .45 ammo 50 years ago?? 9mm para round costs half as much. Thats the reason. And of course those very shady defense manufacturing contracts. You pretend to know something, but I would be surprised if you have any military service experience.

  • @thesidewindersleeps The pistols sir. The guns in use dated back to WW2. The Cost of ammo has nothing to do with it. Nato has settled on the 9mm para as the standard round. The they needed a new pistol & the m9 was selected. Since then we have added the M11 from SIg as a secondary pistol. As for experience, Former USN know more about small arms than you seem to, thank you very much.

  • @WALTERBROADDUS because it was cheaper...ur not paying attention. You arguments are weak and totally erratic. lol

  • @thesidewindersleeps Sir, we have B-2 Bombers that cost a billion a piece. You don't save many nickels by changing to a smaller caliber for a nations services. My Arguments are based on fact. The American Rifleman has a fine article supporting my statements. It's online....

  • @gillysampson69 It completely depends on your intended use...I carry for self defense only and in a life or death situation I need to be confident my assailant will be stopped with one round, MAYBE two. So it's .45 for me. If you need 15 rounds in the clip you're probably not carrying for self-defense...

  • @gillysampson69 The US military still uses the Colt 1911 the fact that the military still uses it after its been in the military for 100 years that decision should be very clear and unless your going to war you shoudnt worry about clip size

  • @AmericanPatriot10111 The M9 replaced the 1911a1 in 1985.

  • @gillysampson69 Actually for practical cary use, Neither would be my choice. Both are large, Duty sized military/police pistols. As a CCW carrier who has Carried a Hi-power as a first gun, They weigh a ton after a while. For last few months I've downsized to a smaller & lighter Kel -Tec PF-9. Also as a 100 year old design shows, the 1911 has way too many parts for what the job calls for. A modern .45 ACP like the PX4 Storm from Beretta or the Kahr series is a better choice for the money.

  • @gillysampson69 If you're not a pussy about recoil, go for a 10mm Auto. Glock makes the Glock 20, Dan Wesson makes the RazorBack, Tanfoglio makes the 10mm Witness, Colt makes the Delta Elite in 10 but it's rare now. A 10mm is a longer .40, in general. It packs about the same recoil as a .45 ACP with more stopping power, kinetic energy, and penetrating power, than most semi-automatic pistols. The .45 ACP is over-rated. If you're serious about protecting yourself and family get a 10mm Auto.

  • @gillysampson69 Get the .45 the Marines just went back to them because the 9mm was not cutting it for combat duty.

  • @gillysampson69 get one of each. They both have distinct qualities that you will enjoy. The Colt has history and power, The Beretta is really a culmination of 600 years of gunmaking, and is truly a work of art. I got the .45 first then saved hard for a Beretta 96g Elite II

  • WHERE You hit em, is more important than What you hit em with'

    -Jack O Connor

  • @gillysampson69 from my point of wiew it depend from so many factor; they are two completely different pistols, one single action and the other it's a double action. the 1911 has a more powerful round but it's outstanding when you shoot the 45, and also it's less "nervous" than the 9 mm. The 40 S&W might be a good compromise, but it brings with it few difects of the two calibers...Best thing to do if you have a chance would be give a try and feel what suits you, it's such a personal thing

  • @gillysampson69 There is whole books on your question. You can't decide based on a few comments from youtube. You best get reading.

  • @gillysampson69 ---I have heard but am not sure that the military is going back to the .45

  • @gillysampson69----I have to agree with mgsfan15 there is a lot more to selecting than caliber and magazine capacity.

  • @gillysampson69 You get get a compact .45 with a 10rd capacity. You can buy some sort of other .45 that is double stacked and get plenty of capacity if you really needed it but if you plan on carrying a gun anyway I hope you don't need a 19 round magazine to drop a target.

  • @gillysampson69 Model # WHX1045S

  • @gillysampson69 The 9mm is military round designed to wound. A wounded soldier removes 3 from battle.

.45 was designed to back up machete wielding Moro tribesmen. 1911 requires training and practice and is then a superior weapon. HK, XD, Glock or other will work for limited skill set. Buy what you want.
