The Bible says "Let Everything That Hath Breath Praise The Lord". It doesn't matter how, who, what or where. I'm just happy to see anybody or anything priasing the Lord. The Lord commands us to praise Him. Let's come together people of God. Show the world that we are one in Christ
LOL, people don't know the word for themselves. You need to know when it is time for "you" verses when it is time for "us". It is called "corporate praise". Acts 2:1 amd Philippians 2:2 both talk about the people being in 1 place on 1 accord. If everyone in this building is doing the same thing, God honors the request. I was actually at this service and the atmosphere was amazing, everyone there was getting there break threw, my miracle depends on you is not what was actually what he meant he was referring to, if you pray and you lay out for somone else then God will answer your needs...
I had a problem with this, one's miracle does not depend on one's neighbor, but by the grace and act of God... Also, one's praise should be genuine and not depend on the prompting and cheerleading of another... "When 'I' think of the goodness of Jesus, and all He's done for me, I could dance all night".

@lamja00 The truth is that there are many men attracted to other men that the average heterosexual male may not be aware. I don't think having gays around is reason for alarm. I do understand what you are saying but I think that ultimately we as Christians need to allow God to be judge on this issue. I was sitting at home when listening to musical videos when this one was listed on the side of the screen. Nothing happens by coincident, and I thank God that he allowed me to see this. Praise is what we do. You can experience God in your home because He is in your heart. Many of us are facing challenging circumstance. The man of God (Bishop Hez Walker) reminded me that, "If I want it, I have to cry for it!" Thank God, He hears my cries.
Sometimes you go through so much in a course of a day, week, month, year that when you get to the house of God, you just look forward to blessing God and it doesn't even have to be in the house of God you can bless God in your home or where ever you are... call it what you want but after all that I have been through you better believe that I am going to shout it out. Music is nice, but its amazing that people dance and shout over unbiblical teaching. pleas tell me when Jesus told us to dance for a miracle? Oh my bad, He just did'em. I grew up in a COGIC church, but I got good theology while I was there. And we just didn't dance for nothing. All the this calls people to delve into being more fake us to fit in. If I don't feel like dancing I'm not dancing. I do more dancing during the week knowing I woke up this morning, had a roof over my head, etc.

We must also understand that our culture influences every aspect of our life. From the days of Africa and then slavery, our people expressed joy and happiness through dance. It's part of who we are.

@blsdwmn Amen. A lot of cultures, like in Europe, are very reserved. They don't exert themselves loudly, and when they get the Holy Ghost it's in a reserved way. Many of the things people do has a lot to do with culture. That doesn't mean one way is right and the other is wrong, just different. However, I totally know what some people are talking about.....sometimes people just dance just to do it, but then there are other times when you KNOW the power of God was all over that person!

2) Have you studied church history and found when was the FIRST piece of musical instrument EVER played inside a church service? No? Then let me tell you it was inside a CATHOLIC church and the year was around 750 AD!

It was a joyful celebratory dance as part of the procession when the ark was being brought to Zion. It was not in the temple. The example of David provides no basis for bringing into our worship services the kind of dancing we are being urged to embrace. This is bringing strangefire before the Lord in His house.

You are wrong! David dancing has NOTHING to do with the Law. If I am wrong (which I am not) the Bible tells us that Gentiles are grafted into the same tree with the Jews. The Bible talks about Jesus rejoicing in the spirit. In Greek it means that He was dancing "violently". Throughout the NT you will find people that have been touched in some way by Jesus rejoiced. Even God Dances (Zeph). Do your research before trying to deceive others and yourself.

LOL, people don't know the word for themselves. You need to know when it is time for "you" verses when it is time for "us". It is called "corporate praise". Acts 2:1 amd Philippians 2:2 both talk about the people being in 1 place on 1 accord. If everyone in this building is doing the same thing, God honors the request. I had a problem with this, one's miracle does not depend on one's neighbor, but by the grace and act of God... Also, one's praise should be genuine and not depend on the prompting and cheerleading of another... "When 'I' think of the goodness of Jesus, and all He's done for me, I could dance all night".
Get with it ppl of God, it's not about feeling happy, it's about experiencing the 'Joy' of the Lord.

i love these kind of atmospheres because for some reason its one of the few times i can hear God speak to me.. almost like self prophecy. but this bunch of saints know they got their miracle they was praising him like he said..! i love the obedient saints! iwihs more saints were like that and not so worried about messing up they suits or they hair.. idc care about mines, jus like he blessed me wit dat he can bless me wit more.

I do understand what you are saying but I think that ultimately we as Christians need to allow God to be judge on this issue. We, the church..can handle this situation so carelessly that we make homosexuals unwelcome to church and then their "lost" souls be on our hands.

I was sitting at home when listening to musical videos when this one was listed on the side of the screen. Nothing happens by coincident, and I thank God that he allowed me to see this. Praise is what we do. You can experience God in your home because He is in your heart. Many of us are facing challenging circumstance. The man of God (Bishop Hez Walker) reminded me that, "If I want it, I have to cry for it!" Thank God, He hears my cries.

Sometimes you go through so much in a course of a day, week, month, year that when you get to the house of God, you just look forward to blessing God and it doesn't even have to be in the house of God you can bless God in your home or where ever you are... call it what you want but after all that I have been through you better believe that I am going to shout it out. Music is nice, but its amazing that people dance and shout over unbiblical teaching. pleas tell me when Jesus told us to dance for a miracle? Oh my bad, He just did'em. I grew up in a COGIC church, but I got good theology while I was there. And we just didn't dance for nothing. All the this calls people to delve into being more fake us to fit in. If I don't feel like dancing I'm not dancing. I do more dancing during the week knowing I woke up this morning, had a roof over my head, etc.

WOW the comments are quite interesting. I am by any means NOT against praising God in a dance. Now i will say this..we cannot place everyone in one little pot. It is not our place to judge who is real and who is not because that is not our job. God is the only judge. Now regardless of what anyone says im going to give God praise no matter what. I will dance, cry, shout, WHATEVA because he deserves just that. He has been TOO good to me to just sit quietly. HEY!!!!

Many folks commenting here are trying to tell me they "Praise Break" becasue they "feel" like it or because it's "for the Lrod" or from "culture", but I contend against WRONG teaching and always will! They find it HARD to disprove me! When looking at "Dance" in light of the Old and New Testamant their arguments is lame!

We must also understand that our culture influences every aspect of our life. From the days of Africa and then slavery, our people expressed joy and happiness through dance. It's part of who we are.

@blsdwmn Amen. A lot of cultures, like in Europe, are very reserved. They don't exert themselves loudly, and when they get the Holy Ghost it's in a reserved way. Many of the things people do has a lot to do with culture. That doesn't mean one way is right and the other is wrong, just different. However, I totally know what some people are talking about.....sometimes people just dance just to do it, but then there are other times when you KNOW the power of God was all over that person!

I have posted very similar comments about dance and its connection to Afrikan people (and other cultures). This is the beat and purpose of people from Afrikan descent for dance. @Senator1 .. David's dance was not a part of the worship service, nor was it done in the precincts of the place devoted to the worship of God. It was a joyful celebratory dance as part of the procession when the ark was being brought to Zion. It was not in the temple. The example of David provides no basis for bringing into our worship services the kind of dancing we are being urged to embrace. This is bringing strangefire before the Lord in His house.

He gave clear instruction to the 4,000 Levite musicians regarding when to sing and what instruments to use to accompany their choir (1 Chron 23:5, 25-31). His omission of dancing in the divine worship can hardly be an oversight. FYI: Jesus nor any of his disciples ever DANCED before the LORD and this alone should be enough EVIDENCE for me to JUDGE you, and those who go on to "add" to their worship and to the WORD of GOD!
Just because DAVID did it does not give you (as a GENTILE CHRISTIAN!) the rights to do something that was permitted under the LAW aka Old Testament!
And please tell me in what CHURCH did anyone EVER danced in the BIBLE again?!? Its time for us to GROW UP in Christ just like the Corinthians!

You are wrong! David dancing has NOTHING to do with the Law. If I am wrong (which I am not) the Bible tells us that Gentiles are grafted into the same tree with the Jews. The Bible talks about Jesus rejoicing in the spirit. In Greek it means that He was dancing "violently". Throughout the NT you will find people that have been touched in some way by Jesus rejoiced. Even God Dances (Zeph). Do your research before trying to deceive others and yourself.

No where in the New Testamanet are we ever told to "dance" before God in praise, and the one who needs to study scripture a bit more, my friend, is you! why is it that absolutley NO ONE has come forward and showed me where in all of scriptures do we see waht you people today claim to be doing for "GOD" - inside a so-called church or temple???
The answer is simple: BECUASE IT'S YOUR FLESH!!

You need NOT to reply to me! .. but Understand that as CHRISTIANS we're not held to the "OLD" form of worship nor to Davidical or O.T. "tabernacle" laws! Here are some verses on worship & singing and NOTICE nothing about PRAISE BREAKS:

- Eph. 5:19
So you see, what you're doing is "adding" to the Scriptures - and FLESHLY dancing is a TERRIBLE thing!

Thank you for your blessings but please know that I DO know what "PRAISE" is but NOTHING about "praise BREAK", for such lingo or verbatim is NOT used in all of SCRIPTURES!
So, with that in mind I do pray that you STOP giving pleasure to your FLESH and for you to come to the full understanding of God's WORD in which says that:
"God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth."
You ought to WORSHIP God and not MUSIC or your FLESH! :o)

I can appreciate your tone and I'll tell you that what I'm saying is that what we see in these many so-called Praise Break videos is not sound-biblical teaching, and to sugest that just because David did it, is not biblical! He didn't dance inside a "Sanctuary"!
Besides, what you see in these videos is more the FLESH going at work than anything else. We know Satan is a deceiver and can also mimick "praise".

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, however, for you to ridicule professed believers of God, when that isn't your place, is just as wrong. All sin is sin in the sight of God. And the bible says "Judge not, lest ye be judged." It is my suggestion that you repent and get your own life right with God.

@fmorrobel pnlbrown2 was asking why are they negative comments and questions? my answer was in response to that. u need to relax and maybe reread YOUR bible. i have praise breaks at my home, out of sight of cameras. am i wrong to praise God in dance, no!! i will agree that some may be faking, it is possible. but you yourself can not be completely sure unless you know them and their story. There is a biblical way by which all Christians ought to worship God and this (sad to say) isn't one of them!
No where in the New Testament are we told to do what this person is doing. Furthermore, many today fail to accept the fact that if anyone could have "danced" like in this video certainly it was our Lord Jesus; his 12- disciples; Stephen; Cornelius; and many others from the early church!
However, do we see anything like this video being done by them? .... Answer: An emphatic NO! :o)
