i seriously think Brandon Routh did a great job in superman returns,he should be in the next superman movie and he looks so much like Christopher Reeve,he's great for the part! he's got the voice,body , hair...everything!! keep Routh in it ! Warner Brothers are making a mistake dumping Brandon for the role,he killed it when he said "i'm sorry i left you lois" that made the movie! and who the hell is this new guy playing superman? Brandon is the real superman.

@iheartcookiess1 I don't think he's like Christopher Reeve, but I actually like Routh as much as Reeve. When I saw him fly in the movie or spoke, I really felt like I was watching Superman in action. Really wished he was doing Man of Steel.

@othablandjr Brandon looks like Reeve but not to the extent where i think he looks so much like Reeve and that they are almost identical to each other. Still, I liked Brandon Routh as Superman. He was also one of the few actors who's voice alone sounded like the character they played. I mean seriously, when you take Christian Bale's voice by itself and listen to him talk, he doesn't really sound like Batman. You take Routh's voice, however, and it does sound like Superman. I really liked that.

@k2spitfire88 Routh had to work with what is now universally accepted as a poor script in the last Superman flick. The guy has talent and can act. Have you seen him in Chuck? I read that he will get to audition for the reboot. Hope he gets a second chance. He's a perfect fit for the role in my opinion.

I think Brandon Routh should play the role of Superman in the new reboot film.

While I am a fan of Smallville, I don't think Tom Welling will be a good fit for the Superman role. Tom Welling plays a good Clark Kent only. Nothing against Tom Welling, but I do believe that Brandon Routh brings life to Superman and would be the best bet.

@ConfederationAscorp I agree I had a idea where this reboot begins in the start of the movie we see scenes from SUPERMAN RETURNS in like a flashback montage and then we discover it was all a dream and that Superman is still in space searching for the remains of Krypton. Then a meteor storm cause his ship to be damaged as he hurls back to Earth.

look guys.. just sit down. watch superman returns.. in high def and with good sound quality.. eat pop corn. get back into it.. its an amazing movie and makes me just giggle haha.. alot of people say that this one was to romantic. but he had to build this new relation ship between these new actors on screen so we could get a feeling of chemistry with them..he did this to build the back story! and it made liike 400 million! man of steel will be action/adventure and i cant wait!
