i can ENTIRLEY skip the companion cube level :P all u need is 1-2 cams from the walls and the 4 in the rat man den, take them down the hall where u jump off the 3 platforms, then stack 2 cams upside down and put C-Cube on it, then stack the other 3-4 next to it (it doesnt have to be neat just pile them up) and climb onto the cams, then jump on C-cube, then climb up, crouch at the edge, and pull up C-cube, and Ta-daaaa, u skipped the ENTIRE (nearly entire..) test chamber!!! CONGRATZ xD

The reason why there's no floor at 0:42 is because the developers didn't need to texture it for the same reason why there's no textures on the backside of the walls, non-cheating players will NEVER see them, would you paint a room that'll never be seen again? Of course not.

Hey buddy, read the description. I turned on sv_cheats, not something like "sv_glitches".

It's a cheat, that enables glitches. cheats enabled, allowing custom CVars to be set.

portal placements never fail - literally, the portals ALWAYS create.

portal never bump - literally, dont "bump" the portals to the side.

etc etc. the vars I set were self-explanatory.

Not to come off as a dick, and not to be rude... but.

Sv_portal_placement_never_fail 1 is the code you used. The song, nice but I also have a copy, I found it in my gmod folders. The "boomerang" portals, i dunno.

although i think u would like this cheat its AWESOme i ended getting golds in all the challenges

ent_teleport 1 if u dont use 1 u dont teleport also

type ent_create_portal_weight_box :D have fun with them and u dont need sv_cheats for the teleport one even better!

They are considered glitches (to me at least) because the "cheats" I am using are not exactly cheats. They just allowed for a portal to be placed on ANY surface. Hence, My favorite quote, "The device has been modified..."

All SV_ variables are, when not default, not considered glitching. You are malfunctioning the use of "portal_bump" brushes in the map file. That would mean you are breaking the map via a command.

Thus you are not actually glitching, because you appended something manually, outside of its standard, nor are you cheating because its a mere variable change.
