I wish I grew up in an area where corps were more popular. We never had the money to hire anyone to run it and would have been "out of place" with other schools (by out of place I mean awesome). *sigh* I would have really enjoyed it...

hey when ur head pulls do they give u another one on the spot or do u have to march the night with it like that? i mean do they keep a million extra head ready?

When a head pulls we just run to the truck and get a new one and change it on the sideline.

Yeah man in drum corps they have millions of heads and sticks just incase things like this happen :) even when i marched cyms.

@vtownhood most DCI/DCA corps are sponsored by companies that give them hundreds of heads,sticks and other various items you may need. Usually there is a small fee that the corps have to pay, Like 10 cents for a set of 10 sticks (at least when i marched) and all the membership dues cover this. and the corps have all these items in the trailers usually. In SCV Drumline trailer we had hundreds of various sticks and a crapload of drum heads/tuning keys on the ground.
