I think Date-Line or 20/20 brushed across this about 6 months ago when a fraud investigator trainer for the FBI was being foreclosed on and she brought paper work to court showing the fraud and they went it to detail what a company like Pillar does, which pillar just collapsed, this is like watching a house of cards fall.

In NY foreclosure fees are closer to a minimum of $3k & the fraudulent documents go far beyond just the assignments.Baum's office (and others like it) also violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act by misstating the amount due by a borrower & as a result, also the Fair Credit Report Act when the amount of the debt is issued in a judgment on a borrower's credit report. These types of violations result in CASH damages payable to the borrower. I'd love to see these included in your CA suit.

@bek12 the video's purpose was to make to take a complicated issue of robo signing and mortgage fraud easy to undertsand for the public AND most important, as it states at the end, it tells the public where to call to complaint. ainly, I wanted to get the Attorney general's attention--I did better; it got the US Dept. of Judtice and the NY AG. The cirrent situation is Baum was fined $2Mill by the Dept of Justice and ordered to change his practice & the AG is still throughly investigating him.

I fought him myself in court and sold the house before he got to foreclose. He requested the Court go to full sale rights upon his first filing! 60 days behind on my mortgage; that was nuts IMHO! 1-They need to investigate all foreclosure firms starting with the ones making the most money. Those are the ones likely to be defrauding the homeowners. 2-The attorneys general need to prosecute to the fullest extent and follow the money trail to see if any of the banks are complicit in these frauds and jail their people also. 3-Any bank doing business with these firms should fire them immediately simply for their disgusting attitude towards poor unfortunates who are losing their homes.

All the policy makers at all major banks, the foreclosure mill attorneys, and the politicians who support them should be jailed for life. These lousy scum bags have caused some suicides in my area (and I'm sure everywhere else as well), particular among elderly homeowners. Wisconsin is not acting in accordance to any of these claim. We have a foreclosure mill that just foreclosed on my home today, because I was 15 min. late due to detours. The documents entered were fraudulent, and I did not have a chance to defend my case, to request a motion to compel, due to the foreclosure mill ignoring my request to produce two months prior, and I was unable to present my affidavit to the motion to compel. Where is the Justice? WI does not feel fraud is an issue.

How do I get on board. My foreclose happened in Wisconsin. I have my court transcripts that prove rush to judgment, bank attorney not producing the not (and believe me, I asked). I stood my ground and made 'em take my castle by force. I was charged with 'obstructing and resisting' but the charges were dropped by the D.A. because this would have given me a jury trial. I'm sure the judge had the D.A. drop the charges because the last thing he wanted was me in front of jury. HELP!!! Or refer me...
