I try to set up with the point of interest in mind, but I don't keep adjusting the camera with every shot I take. The convergance is set afterwards for a lot of shots, which requires the video to be sized a little larger when editing to avoid the cutoff of footage along the sides.
Thats so awesome man, I really wish I had two of the same camera's so I could do this. I mean one wont work..And the script is sweet..I can watch in my monsters vs.aliens glasses....
With all the videos you've commented on, I'm surprised you didn't know about this :) All you need to do is put yt3d:enable=true as your last tag. I would like to know who invented this script to thank them, but I do wish there was a green/magenta as well. You can also adjust the size by using the aspect function( yt3d:aspect=2:3 ).
This was uploaded in parallel. You will see the crosseyed and focus-through(parallel) are switched, but the colored glasses formats work as they should. People can always choose between those first two.
Hopefully Green/Magenta glasses will be supported soon. I have to admin that I've never seen them in my travels. Is the green lens above the left eye? Fascinating stuff.
Correct. Green on left, magenta on right. The glasses are being distributed with movies like "Journey to the Center of the Earth". "Coraline" has them as well.
I think there is a green magenta. And what advantage does changing the aspect give, because I've been wondering if there's some way to increase the picture size on the cross-eyed function.
ie. this vid was upload at 720 X 405 (16:9). The cross or parallel aspect ratio is dependent on the single side. If the full screen is 16 X 9, the yt3d:aspect tag has to be 8:9. Unfortunately, this creates a very narrow anaglyph.
thats my car in the background, lol...

hello,
quick question, when your filming 3d, do you point the cameras straight out or have them focus on a POI?
