You just have to remember, that the sponsor is there to serve you, not the other way around. Getting money is great, but if one of their affiliates is a gun manufaturer and you want to make a video against guns, they may threaten to remove their sponsorhsip. So think about it carefully and don't let them control you.

Compensation is the reward for those of us who are worthy of it. If you make good videos you deserve it. Not everyone on Youtube is gonna stay "underground". There are talented people on here, and it's time they got recognized for it.

There is nothing wrong with having a sponsor, look at Dawn & Drew and Julien Smith.

They provide great content and get paid cash money. Julien hasn't quit his day job yet like Dawn & Drew but he's got nice equipment.
