ohmygosh! Theyre inspired in flamenco, which is the style of music from my country, Spain. They do quite well. Its nice and fun seeing how each country has their own vision about others´ culture. These girls dance it with a very exotic style, hehehe... But flamenco is only one of the typical music styles in Spain. Its mostly typic at the south (from where I am from). And flamenco is not always so "party time" music. These girls have chosen the most cheerful part of it. Anyway, very nice clip!

@Olaunis As you said, it's probably more inspired by flamenco, but mixed with JPop, so it's probably more cheerful because of the JPop bit (we can't have sad and slow JPop, can we now?). It's more the instruments, dance and costumes (even the sleeves look more kimono, than flamenco in my opinion, but what do I know, I'm English), the song and tune are more JPop-like.

In 2004 Tsunku held auditions for the 7th generation of Morning Musume. 6 girls passed, but Tsunku decided not to let them join because he didn't find his "ace" for the group. A year later Koharu auditioned and was the only one that was chosen to be part of Morning Musume. That's why she's called the "miracle member".
