I like her voice...she has great control, even though I think her voice is quite a decent size....I think...I'M not sure though...sometimes recordings make voices look bigger than what they are...but if it is a bigger soubrette that is great...one needs them on the bigger stages! I think very prettily sung! thank you for this posting!

I adore Bonney in general, but on the DVD of this production I don't think she is in great voice--it seems like an off-night. Bonney's acting in the piece is superb, and she has amazing chemistry with Garanca, but I have to confess I think this performance by Cangemi sounds better.

I actually love her voice in that DVD, i think it was better than the CD version she recorded

Love this small gem of an aria. Though my fav rendition would be by Barbara Bonney from the Hogwood CD.
