@kaducao Hey there, it's pretty simple- Marshall plexi head and plexi cabinet, bass set to 0 , volume I to max and volume II to 0, add treble booster and spring reverb and there you go!
You have various amp simulations; Orange amps, Marshall amps, vox amps, fender amps, jazz amps, and many many more; tons of effects , distortion pedals and such... you cant record with it, i used Audacity for recording the 2nd guitar track
Amazing playing and tone! Just love this song. It has been fun re-living my DIO music collection over the last several days since he died. Such great stuff he gave us! Rock on man! Love the strat!
I prefer direct recording, therefore the Guitar Rig4 setup. It seems there's a loss in micing the amp. But maybe if you mixed the guitar track of the Fender setup in audacity afterwards you'd get an excellent setup. The guitar rig setup has an advantage because the original underlying track is really well mixed in.
Man i was really into the whole micing the amp thing for a while like woody does, but then i found out mics cost a lot, well good ones at least; i really just love the idea of being able to to play and just record it with the camera, no bugging around with the programs and stuff.
