theres a practice mode, but it sucks balls because the AI is mental retards and is nothing more than target practice. the game is intended to be multiplayer, and its better that way. its much more fun to be facing smart opponents

it is similar in setting, but gameplay is radically different. Many, many realistic things are factored into the gameplay of this game. I love it personally, but i have a friend who came from playing CoD and stuff and he didnt really like RO at all, he found the realism too hard and he kept dying, which is what turned him off i think

Kaukasus is mostly hard for uncoordinated Axis teams. When they face a decent Allied team, it's very easy to trap them in Back Route. Then most players get frustrated and hate the map. It played a lot better in Mod though.

Basovka is mostly hectic and filled with arty spam. It's a unique map where the teams must win by sheer firepower :)

BTW, 50 player servers are the cancer killing Red Orchestra. This game was not designed for 50.
