I'm pretty sure that's Daphne not Sookie. The lady at 2:26 is wearing the same barrette as Daphne from 1:28 to 1:33. The hair is the same, she's wearing a strapless dress and both scenes are in the kitchen.

I can understand how that could happen. Nevertheless, IMO -it's a possibility that Sam and Sookie could share a brief kiss (S2). It has to do with a scene I read in book 2. Actually Sookie briefly kisses another who is briefly mentioned in books 1 & 2 that they've left out of the show. They might use Sam instead, if this scene happens. Then again, since it looks like Sam will be busy this season, they may not.

i think that is only true for anne rice's vampires, i've never heard of that in any other vampire stories but i'm not sure

It's also true in Charlaine Harris's books. Bill tells Sookie he was lucky he had shaven recently before he was turned or he'd still be stuck with a full-grown beard...but I'll try to ignore that part

She's kind of in book one in a flashback when Bill is telling Sookie about when he was turned, but she's not in book 2 and comes back in book 3.

Thanks for posting. WOW! Everyone' sporting a new look... and boy, do they all look good! When I heard Eric hair was shorter, I wasn't sure, but, now that I see it, it looks really good. Bill's hair looks much better than before. SM is so comical, he ought to be a delight to work with. Tara's hair and clothes are fantastic. Eggs look hot in black. Lorena, though evil she looks smokin'. Maryanne, wow, she's one pretty but scary creature. Oh, I am going to enjoy hating Daphne. TAM 4-ever!! LoL!

I thought the lack of the wig in Eric's character could be negative (the pic with the tracksuit and short hair wasn't very Viking like), but these clips melted me in my seat!! Now I'm worried about the pic with the wig that was showed by HBO in the second round of photos... Well, anyway Alexander is gorgeous!!

Have to disagree...The book Laf is a minor, limited character, until Alan Ball--AB not only fleshes out the bare-bones book characters, but gives them heart & soul! True Blood has gone lightyears beyond the books in the best way....Hopefully people will enjoy them both separately & not continually try to make comparisons --AB took the basic CH Southern Vampire concepts & made significant changes to create a highly sophisticated, complex series. SO, I say, bring back Laffy with fangs!!!!!
