This is one of the few songs about food that makes me hungry! It reminds me of my grandma listening to this (on AM radio) while making apple pan dowdy. A recipe she took to the grave with her, but this song puts that taste right back in my mouth.

Ahh my grandma used to always sing this to me when I was a little kid and dance with me. This makes me think of her and my childhood spending the summers with her because my parents were divorced... She died in 2007, and I miss her so much. I love you, GiGi. :)
