The music today sucks for the most part. I guess there is so much more today too at least more coverage so you would think it would be better. Nobody comes close to Elvis. I don't think there could ever be anybody to sing the diverse collection of songs he sang and sing them at the level he did. Hound Dog straight up rock at it's best right there and how he could do a song like Love Me Tender at the same level, that's why he is the king.
