  • Elvis is sexy

  • All hail the king of rock

  • great quality ty for uploading

  • <3 elvis

  • Ed: "Yes, that's right... Elvis Presley!"

    "YIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

  • Lucky guy elvis was, he died taking a dump that probably felt good.

  • Elvis had the beauty of a Greek God. Seriously, he looks like those old statues, with the straight blade of a nose and that short upper lip. He remains electrifying. What happened to him?

  • wow ed sulivan was a lucky chap with the performances he booked

  • this man is my one true love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • no wonder hes the KING OF ROCK AND ROLL

  • WOOooooHOOoooo,THUMBS UP!!

  • There is no one on Earth today that girls go crazy over like they did over Elivs.

  • the best performer :D:D

  • freaking sexy!!! <3 ;) love the way he plays with his audience, like no one else <3 god i love u!<3

  • Forrest Gump showed him that crazy walk!

  • It's funny, at 1:26 you can clearly see the microphone's shadow that was standing above Elvis

  • cool

  • How tall was Elvis? He looks really short in this vid

  • @fuzzdout

There is something a bit squashy about the image, but he was 5'11 which is a bit above the national average of 5'9. Something about TV back then was really distorting.

(Apologies for the copy-paste, I just replied this to someone else but your question was more recent)

  • @anthem47 correction: Elvis was 6 ft (183 cm) barefoot, according to his pre-induction army physical examination, although people say he looked taller in person

  • Definitely, should you fellas don't discover yet still, you can easily find and enjoy the full episodes, sport matches and movies over at stream episodes (.) net. It is wonderful cause it seems to have every thing that youtube won't permit!

Elvis Presley "Hound Dog" on The Ed Sullivan Show

  • man never took any kind of vocal lessons...absolutely amazing

  • Now that one thinks about it....EP was a pretty good as hole....Especially when he left Jesus for all this crap

  • wow chick mag! damn

  • so true " musicians now aday dnt have talent" all of hip hop and rap

  • HE gives the guy behind him his guitar at the end and the guys like, wtf am I supposed to do with this??

  • @Immaculate416 LMAO....I laughed when I saw him do that and I was thinking the same thing!

  • he looks really really short lol

  • @1984metalhead

There is something a bit squashy about the image, but he was 5'11 which is a bit above the national average of 5'9. Something about TV back then was really distorting.

  • The music today sucks for the most part. I guess there is so much more today too at least more coverage so you would think it would be better. Nobody comes close to Elvis. I don't think there could ever be anybody to sing the diverse collection of songs he sang and sing them at the level he did. Hound Dog straight up rock at it's best right there and how he could do a song like Love Me Tender at the same level, that's why he is the king.

  • RIP ELVIS

  • is he lipping it?

  • Ever think the guy behind him are going "This is gonna stir up some crazy shit with the religious folk" ? XD

  • @kageandpein LMAO I was thinking the same thing. A lot of the hip shaking he did back then was inappropriate.

  • This is one of the best live videos I've seen of him, I loved his dancing and his smile is so charming. He was truly a great entertainer ♥

  • was he drunk or droug?...

  • @haga72 he wasn't drunk, he was just being himself.

  • @JeanetteMnicole your right and haga72 you see how many girls were crazy over him he was like the first pimp

  • Absolutely a God-Given talent. Rest in peace EL.

  • Now this is music

  • oh my fucking god, even now in 2 thousand fucking and ten we can not say that there is someone in music now that can even.... shit i cant even put it in words...... that can even do the things this man did, that's why he is the King, yes he didnt invent rock n roll but god damn it he made us all wanna play it, dance it, fuck it and live it. from now on when ppl ask me describe America, im just gonna put a Elvis record and tell'em thats what America use to be.

  • hes sooooooo fine! man i wish i was around in the 50's

  • Elvis's face is like "I can't believe you guys get excited over this"

and the faces of the people clapping are like "I can't believe I get paid to do this"

  • He was such a great performer, with charisma and all. Awesome, can't get enough of him!

  • good looking, got the voice nd the talent

  • His coolness factor is off the charts

  • i think this is AWESOME!! i love it. Hound dog

  • the way he look... arrr... so sexy... :)

he really loved singing and delighted every second :)

  • He looked like he almost slipped and fell at 2:45. That would have been the ultimate failblog video.

  • i agree mysterygirl411

  • impressive dancing!

  • great video, I'm spreading my music with animations.

  • yea legit talent like elvis presley right.... he couldnt even play the guitar ll he was was a pretty face with charisma dam read a book or two

  • @warrenchristophergod

I doubt if yoiiu can read, Elvis was decent guitar player.

  • Yea, totally. Back then you had to be really good, now you get guys like Lil wayne and just yell shit into the mike and sell millions.

  • @aedenteguz

So true. What a sad world this has become....for music.

  • The quality of this video is really unusual. i like it.

  • This one had a miserable student like me up and dancing, true music! Long live Elvis :)

  • when you see this you relize what a completly different world we live in and how fucked up its become..how i do envy the people that lived in that time.

  • @Johfunu we were born in the wrong era :(

  • this guy fucking made music what it is look at the way he moved and motioned the ladies loved it

  • The boss!

  • @ratso444 no he didnt ante up nothin

  • Hound dog is my favorite song by Elvis.Hes pretty good.

  • These days, you don't see women scream like crazy while men looked up to someone like that no more...

  • @Elvisfan11561 obviously u havent seen forest gump.....

  • who else? =)

  • He just had to strum the guitar and all the bitches were screaming....probably got more pussy than a normal man would know what to do with

  • They needed a mic for the Jordanaires...like their 'ahhhh' background and claps in studio version...Sullivan was a cheapo I guess.

  • when he starts laughing at 0:52, the girls go nutzz! l0l! and when he starts singing... wow.

  • @SecretlyyNerdy aww cmon. You know you like Miley Cyrus and the Jonas brothers. hehe

  • @uberathlete

Oh totalllllllllly... i adorre that slutttyy tone-deaf man-voiced miley. and id diiie to see those gay over-popular jonas brothers.

Why couldnt i have been born in the years of Elvis, and the beatles?

  • @shoopwhoop41 Grape drink..lmao!!

  • brilliant early performance. i think it got harder for him when he got older having performed hound dogg so many times.

  • and to think that dancing was considered "too sexual for viewers" back then, boy if those people saw today's pop music videos they wouldn't know what hit them

  • you just gotta love that preformence man!!! those girls and women just go nuts !!! and he isn t even started yet : )

  • Got to give the guy credit for having a sense of humor and knowing how to work the audience. Very impressive.

  • I know people are making a big deal about the four losers in the back let me tell you i wish i was one of those losers claping for THE KING lol the best seat in the house gotta say

  • Elvis' management(Col Parker, RCA...) never should have removed the floor microphone from Elvis' stage... This is a great appearance, but he was better on The Dorsey Brothers' Show, and Milton Berle's Show.

  • elvis is the king of rock wooh i wish he didnt leave the building

  • Back then only people with legit talent could get a record deal. Unlike now where all you need is good looks and the IQ of a walnut.

  • @MysteryGirl411 and computer autotune...

  • @MysteryGirl411

haha Yes you're so right! EVEN Heidi Montag sings :| :| :| Or what do you think of Paris Hilton singing - gooooooshhh!

  • @MysteryGirl411

lol that is so true except the iq part... YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN IQ LESS THAN A WALNUT!!!

  • @MysteryGirl411 soooo truu x

  • "well you ain't never caught a rabbit and you ain't no friend of mine."

  • I wonder how much more amazing this wonderful man's career would've been if the capitalist's didn't touch him.

  • zac efron and that loser baby justin bieber got nothing on elvis! but wat is the purpose of those guys back there. theyre just clappin except for the one on the end palyin guitar lol

  • woww he was sooo cute! wat a hearthrob ^^ <3

  • Elvis's highly controversial and very sexy performance of Hound Dog earned him the nick name "the Pelvis".

  • hai ciulato tutto di chuck berry bianco di merda

  • I saw this program!!! There was nothing like him.

  • my family r hudge elvis presley fans

  • king of rock he looks like me neigbour

  • The reactiom he he got from those girls was veryyyyy crazy.

  • HA all of the adults back then thought this music was Devil music. If only they could hear today's music

  • What a charismatic character!

  • Those four med in the background? Aren´t they just clapping troughout the hole song?? Is all they do?! Waste! :)

  • Ed said: EP was one of the VERY most kind and well brought up guys ever in his shows.

  • if i was 18 in that time era, i would have been one of those screaming girls.

  • Elvis will always be the King, his music will live on forever :D

I'm 14 years old, and Elvis' music has 100 times more appeal to me than anyone.

  • that´s pure rock and roll the best

  • Haha, this is so much better than the guys little girls are screaming over today, like the Jonas Brothers or Justin Beiber. Man had talent and was so completely revolutionary. He may not have invented rock n' roll, but he brought it to the masses!

  • @OShades You are so right, but please, please don't mention those two in the same conversation as Elvis!!

  • @glsingle Ah, I'm so sorry - I'll have to serve a few decades in Purgatory before getting into Rock & Roll Heaven for that!! Never again!

  • @OShades you are right the jonas brothers sucks

  • @OShades totes magotes!

  • @OShades i agree!!! my stupid generation has horrrrrible taste in music! ):

  • It sounds like they're on a roller coaster.

  • @impulsivexx

    It does :)

  • God blessed that man with everything..looks, talent.....!

  • He's such a stud-muffin!

  • he was a migit lol

  • @turuu214 He was 6 ft tall you clown

  • Elvis has left the building :(

  • Thankfully Elvis was born when he was and not back during the Salem Witch Trials. They would have stoned him, burned him, and buried him in an unmarked grave because his sheer musical power is fucking BLINDING. And you know what they say about envy. It breeds cries of, "He's the devil!"

  • whooo he was looking good :)

  • Why does he bother saying 'ladies and gentleman'? You can hardly hear him singing above those shrill screams that most certainly do NOT belong to any gentlemen.

  • damn he was soooo hot.

  • hahahahah

  • A lot of artist back then didn't need computers for their voice.

  • @SerenityIsTheMan

Give it a rest with the black artists comments. Elvis gave more respect to the black community than you ever could. Black artists the world over respect him as the king what is your problem?

  • @47DJC What are you talking about? All I said was, A lot of artists back then didn't need computers for their voice. Whats your problem? Do you have down syndrome?

  • @47DJC are you stupid? all he or she said was that a lot of artist today need computers to make their voices sound better. where in that comment do you see that it is a racist comment?

  • Think of the times he was in.

  • It's not overrated. In the 1950's, Rock & Roll music was thought to cause promiscuity in teens. So, when Elvis thrusted his pelvis in those ways, it was something no one had ever seen before and it caused women to literally faint. It was a big deal. A VERY big deal.

  • well, the us society in the 50s was controled in so many ways: moral, religion, taboos about sex, segregation, etc. so, a man shaking like him was the real personification of the devil. everything america didnt want at that time. so, it seems that the girls (and boys) were screaming that way, cause finally someone had his body free). or as someone said: elvis was here to set our bodies free, and dylan did the same to our minds.

  • yup, elvis the pelvis
