They ate anything you put in the tank (I only ever put in wieners, and chicken pieces other then regular food) Oddly enough they looked EXACTLY like this fish... same size, same colour, same EVERYTHING. But I must be blind or something <-(sarcasm). Not that I was looking for a fight... relax... its a fish.

Ok I HAVE to ask... you used great stuff, fiberglass resin, and enamel paint but never had any issues with chemical reactions with the fish? How long did you let it off-gas before you filled the tank and put the fish in?

@zoneking never a problem with the fish, I've done a few more since as well. I let it off gas for a week. Then filled and drain a few time over another week, I used the convicts to cycle the tank after that. Other tanks I’ve sped up the process without any problems.

I have a 5 inch black piranha in a tank right now 30 gallon with a 4 inch red devil and 6 inch dempsey with nice big pots for the fish to hide in. So far Black piranha rules the tank and has nipped the other 2 fish good but 2 months later all are still alive. What will happen if I introduce 2 red bellies 4" and 6"? Will they survive? What will happen?

A Black Piranha alone should have over a 120g, and dempsey should have a 55g, the red devil 75g or so..already you have to many way Large fish for your tank that are clearly exibiting agression so adding any other large fish is a horrible idea! please do research befor buying any animal even fish! as clearly you havent or you did ad did pay attention so the fish are suffering and please get them a tank .. over 120g and/ or rehome them..

black piranhas are more agressive than reds, thats why they have to be kept alone. Also, they are more expensive because they are hard to breed, due to the fact that they try to kill during mating.

A pack of caribe could kill that black, but one on one or even 3 on one and those reds are dead. You are right, blacks are pretty borring compared to a pack of reds.

Once I threw a Yellow Fin Tuna in there with him. Whoaah Man, you should have seen it. The Dragon Fish swam right over to the Tuna, breathed one shot of fire on him & made instant Seared Ahi
