  • do you do the same thing if you are using a minifigure

  • @cisnerosp100 Yes

  • I think i found an answer for the lines in your mold.

look up LEGO Pick A Brick.

then in the search area type Flat tile 6x6, should be about $0.57 a piece.

its just a little bigger than your small mold without the lines.

    Hope this helps.

  • For pressing flat wood pieces would work great too. If you have access to a saw and are handy you can cut whatever size you need cheap.

  • This tutorial is really helpful, so thanks a lot for making it. Your accent is awesome, by the way. You speak English really well, and your use of words and phrases sounds very natural and fluid. You sound like a person who speaks English as their first language (aside from having an accent), which is really hard to do with a second language.

  • @reich138 Thank you :D

  • The Finish public education system is said to be the best in the world, but even so, you mastery of the language is impressive. Here in the US we have to go to private/Catholic school to become literate in our own language.

I want to cast space marine shoulder pads and heads from the Company Champion sprue. It'd cost like $4,000 (about 2900 gold pieces or euros or whatever europeople are using as currency these days) to get enough of them for my purposes. Would I need a 2 part mold to do that?

  • @reich138 For the shoulderpads no, just make a simple mold and press whatever putty you use into it. For a head I would suggest a 2 part mold. One similar to the one I did for the pichu thing. You could do a simple mold where you press the putty down the neck but you run into some problems with not getting a neck.

I know exactly what you mean about cost, I play Sisters of Battle but hate metal models so I'm quite boned when it comes to miniatures or even bits.

  • UhMaAn iItss a PiChuu!! ... just kidding :D nice video! thank you

  • The Pokemon is Pichu according to my son. Neat framework, Hadn't thought of using Lego
