  • Of course, each person's situation is different and some require medication short term or long term.

    A yoga practice helps the glands within the body function better. For example, when an inversion is done, more oxygenated blood flows to the pituitary gland and pineal gland. The deep breathing and inversion ignites the parasympathetic system...the one that kicks in when all is well...and turns off the sympathetic system...the fight or flight mode. Yoga has a collective impact over time.
