i love the fact that they eat and go,eat and go...allowing the others waiting outside to get a good meal before leaving for others.not like somewhere like singa**e that makes u wait forever.
I had the privilege of eating here at Kururi last week. They now have tsukemen too, which is all the rage in Japan now. The noodles were fantastic and miso soup was divine. Although I tried my best, could not finish all the soup because I had no more space for it. A must for any ramen lover.
Yes, this is the greatest ramen experience I've ever had.
I'm going to eat here next time I'm in Japan! Dude, I've seen Secret Service guarding the president that's less serious.. His ramen must be awesome, look at that concentration.
@NVC92 no he meant that most soups for ramen use pork bones and dried bonito shavings to extract the goodness to make the base soup. usually most ramens arent veggie
That looks sooo delicious! I would love to eat real ramen instead of instant. And I'm jealous that Japan gets ramen shops and we get shit like McDonalds and Burger King whose #1 goal is to obesitize Americans. =((((
japanese people are so different, weird and even scary. I think I'd feel like a complete FREAK if I'd go in a place like that. I wouldn't even know how to order or whom to pay lol...
the chef show how humble his ramen house is.... only one cook... manage to win... well im truly happy for him and his humble ramen house... simple but the best of all the best ramen....
yea i bet.......alll that hard work working the kitchen ...and beating all those competitors........that award symbolize the dedication he has in making the best ramen
Please explain what is special in this ramen? Why did this man (ramen) win? Special taste? Secret ingredient? Or what? I wish I could understand japanese :(
Thanks! I went there today. Waited for about an hour (1pm on a Thursday). The master is totally serious, just like the video. And yeah, this was the best miso ramen I've ever had.
1 hour waiting was a tough experience, wasn't it? Especially in this cold winter. I suggest you go there around 4pm-5pm. The master is really serious. I've never seen him speak a word lol
i wonder if the dude owner will raise his price after this event. I bet, its already a very pricy place to eat ramen. Wheres that store in Japan. Ill definitely go there, when i have a chance to go to Japan

For a group of ELDERLY JAPANESE critics to say this is delicious, then this has to be good.
1. It's a fact that asains are the most strict people to judge food.
2. They are old, which means taste buds start to ware out.
So if they say it's good... then it's good.
