Wow, the Ghost Host's voice is so ominous. I remember it giving me quite a scare when I was a kid. Hearing it again, of course, I think it's absolutely gorgeous. Paul Frees was a voice acting legend.

Oh gee. I remember at 3:32 I grabbed my dads jacket and hid inside it. I was so terrified xD AAAAAANNNNND when our little cars were having that little weird pausing thing that they do, me and my mom were stuck at the part where the candle floats in midair and looks like it's getting closer and closer by the second. (at 6:53) That part REALLY freaked me out! But now, I think it's hilarious! Aaaaahhhh memories.....when the world was so simple :)

One of my favorite rides! I went to Disney World when I was 12 with my best friend and we were both too scared to ride it. I went to Disneyland this past spring break when I was 20 and now I'm glad I went on it when I was older. I can definitely appreciate it a lot more now that I'm older. The effects are so cool! XD

My favorite memory of this ride: Me and my sister were younger and riding together. We were both kinda scared so we were trying to pull the safety bar down quickly but of course it didn't come down. Right after the the Ghost Host said "Do no pull down on the safety bar, I willl do it for you." Me and my sister looked at each other as it came down, yep it totally freaked us out XD

And to WeirdA145231, I think that is Thurl Ravenscroft, another great voice that Walt Disney used here in The Haunted Mansion singing "Grimm Grinning Ghosts." Also, Thurl sings, "Yo Ho Yo Ho A Pirates Life For Me" on The Pirates Of the Caribbean. Paul Frees is the voice of The Ghost Host and they are both throughout Disney rides (even in The Tiki House).

The guy whose head comes off with his hat is missing, and the dog which looks normal but is in fact in half. The ghosts used to hang onto the back of the chair and peek over the seat aswell. I think it looked better back then :P
