I think out of all the Judy Garland shows, Judy looked exceptionally good and beautiful in this episode. Vincente Minnelli was in the Director's booth because Liza was the guest star and he knew how to make Judy look even better with the correct make up and lighting.. She knew this too because he gave her a look of herself she never had before when they first worked together in Meet Me In St. Louis in late 1943 early 1944. When she went to the rushes she seen how he worked his magic.
