Excellent indeed, the question is: why did she wait until that late as 1982! to play this role on stage (Liceu & Scala, this last one just 1 "famous" night)? Her Maria Stuarda & Roberto Devereux came far a decade earlier!
Never before nor later; In "Anna Bolena" it is still for a better DIVA to be born. Excuse me Ms. Anna Netrebko but, in that opera Madam Caballe is unbeatable.
