  • I think this recording is from 1970 (I have the RCA disc of this)... until 1965's Lucrecia at Carnegie Hall she didn't aproach to the bel canto repertoire, as she usually said

  • Excellent indeed, the question is: why did she wait until that late as 1982! to play this role on stage (Liceu & Scala, this last one just 1 "famous" night)? Her Maria Stuarda & Roberto Devereux came far a decade earlier!

  • Never before nor later; In "Anna Bolena" it is still for a better DIVA to be born. Excuse me Ms. Anna Netrebko but, in that opera Madam Caballe is unbeatable.
