Gandalfe, you're right. After the intro, things smooth out nicely. Nice playing! Nice alto solo, and the jazzophone seems like a trumpet configured to look like a saxophone.
We blew the intro, apologies to Michael, then there's a nice alto solo by Micah, very tasty. Gary Anderson plays the Jazzophone and notes that pressing it to the mouth is an interesting exercise that takes some getting used to as the bocal come at you in an oblique angle. We're guess the bocal is a lead pipe from a double french horn maybe?
Yep, if the arranger hadn't asked to see this, I don't think I'd have posted it. But the sax solist was a walk-in and he played very nice.
