Steph & Zack will be in my prayers, as well. I pray for all of our brave military each day, but it helps me to focus when I have actual names to pray for, as well. Hope all come home safe. They are performing a duty that should be honored. Let us all honor them.

I knew a wonderful Chaplain at Fort Hood in early 2000s who was always there for not only the troops, but also the dependents. When in the military, especially deployed, faith is needed to make it through the day. I lost a few friends in Iraq but feel comforted that they knew the Lord. I just don't how it all happened, but although my parents had nothing whatever so do with this, I have always totally hated Jesus Christ. Nothing in particular, but there's just something so painfully fradulent and fake about him and his silly stories. This must be something genetic, since no one forced me to think this way, or behave in this manner, but it's just that I find Jesus fucking awful. Everything about him smells rotten. However, I think there is something sick about how people think about war if "fighting for freedom" automatically means fighting for your country's interests. Hey, I was raised Catholic, I can tell you we never worshiped idols. People think Catholics worship statues, they think Catholics believe Jesus never came off the cross and a whole lot of other crazy things! They know salvation is though the blood of Jesus Christ-nothing else. Today I am a born-again Christian. Not a Catholic, not belonging to a religion of any kind, but belonging to The Family of God-all made possible by God's Grace-Jesus's sacrifice-His death on the cross! Amen!

Hi...just got home from work...As I got older, I went to many churches...and I realized God wasn't about any religion...Jesus was the only way to heaven...I didn't hate Catholics (Oh, why do you keep spelling it with a "K"?) , I don't hate anyone...every church has it "a little bit right", but mostly I felt trapped in rituals, man-made rules..This was in ALL churches/religions!...I want to REST in Jesus...ya know?...And I am! : ) Have a good night...Vicki

@ArtistVickiK There's things I don't agree with in Catholicism, and i see some of it as idol worship. but that's not to say other Christians never worship an idol. an idol could be anything. It's really a matter of the heart. Jesus is Jesus. If you know him you know him. I'm not gonna say any one denomination is full of people who don't know him or are wrong. it's a personal relationship with him that matters. So as a Pentecostal I'm with you!

I knew a wonderful Chaplain at Fort Hood in early 2000s who was always there for not only the troops, but also the dependents. When in the military, especially deployed, faith is needed to make it through the day. I lost a few friends in Iraq but feel comforted that they knew the Lord. Thank you to all who serve, God Bless You! The baptism at the end of this is so awesome PRAISE GOD!

I just don't how it all happened, but although my parents had nothing whatever so do with this, I have always totally hated Jesus Christ. Nothing in particular, but there's just something so painfully fradulent and fake about him and his silly stories. This must be something genetic, since no one forced me to think this way, or behave in this manner, but it's just that I find Jesus fucking awful. Everything about him smells rotten.
