I love the sound of the harpsichord. It's beautiful. Maybe that's just because I love baroque music, but I still like the sound of the harpsichord on its own.
Great work dan of sydney. Big improvement on your previous attempt on a piece by the great 19th century Bohemian artist Antonin Dvorak.
Judging by the introductory comments dan is attempting to silence his critics - with his fingers.
It is interesting to note that his voice of choice is the harpsichord. By using the harpsichard I am thinking there is a subtle reference to the period masterpiece Amadeus but maybe I am analysing this piece too much.
You mean electronic keyboard.

One note is wrong, the 5th note of the tune is a semitone up from the 4th note rather than a tone.
Other than that, brilliant

This looks like an electronic keyboard, certainly not a real-life harpsichord.

It truely has the Medieval sound. What's the name of the song? Just Greensleeves?

@danofsydney
There's nothing wrong with messy. I dare say Beethoven., Isaac Newton, Da Vinci, and Sandro Botticelli had messy rooms.

What is the name of this style of music? I love it. Please reply.
yadamatrix 2 years ago
It is an English folk song and the style could be called medieval or pastoral or even "early music".
I would say Medieval, Im glad you like it!

"Renaissance" is the word you're looking for.

it sounds great on the harpsichord.
have you thought about playing some variations? it would be great to hear a larger version of this.

I'm glad you posted this.
Nice thing to share. Feel welcome to share a love of music with everyone.
I play the piano, done well with it.
Just telling you, despite my usually critical personality, I decided I like just seeing people enjoy music.
I used to play this one by ear in a similar way to this, before I took lessons.

Great! Check out my music videos. I'm a recording artist BTW.
Also have myspace page that gets 5000 hits a day.
Best,
