  • So why aren't more people into organ? Search me, I've only got 11 myself and have 5 playlists here on youtube dedicated to the organ. It's an acquired taste, but once acquired you will never turn back. Listen to the great Ethel Smith too, not just Jimmy Smith. Listen Hammond, listen to the Wurlitzer 4500/4502/4300 John La Duca.

  • can someone help me out please? this may sound like a dumb question but what is that that switch at 1:18 called? do all organs have it or just type of organ.

  • @carlosfrusciante1 switch for tremelo and speed variation for leslie cabinet

  • @carlosfrusciante1 That was the switch to turn the Leslie rotary speaker on. Yes, the heart of the sound on any electronic organ will be the Leslie speaker system. I own the very first Don Leslie rotary design from between 1942 & 46', and it was made for Wurlitzer. This is rare Leslie trivia few know. If you watch my video 'Paul Mickelson Plays the Conn Classic' see images of the very fist high rotor Don sold made from paper mache. Leslie concept based on theater tremulents.

  • 1:23 reminds me of the empyrean by john frusciante : D espicially the end of the track "heaven" : D

  • I just love an organ and leslie with 3 speeds!!!...awesome!!!

  • OMG i love the sound when you turn the leslie on

  • from 1:23 onwards the sound makes me shiver!

  • hammond c3 kicks ass

  • That's one happenin' organ!
