I doubt the lioness wants to eat the baby. She would go into stealthy hunting mode if that was the case--and plus she is fed almost everyday day by the zookeeper, so her appetite is satisfied. She probably wants to inspect the baby, pester or roughhouse it (which could kill it), or just affectionately cuddle or nuzzle it.
