howd they get stabilizer warning to shut up? did they inhibit the GPWS?

@Dominoes282 Why would there be a stabilizer warning? Obviously they have the stabilizer trim set to the correct setting for the Centre of Gravity/Weight and takeoff derate for that flight, and there wasn't much time after takeoff/gear up so they may not have actually touched the trim at all from the time they set the trim before taxi to the time the video ends.

@Dominoes282 yeh in PMDG (and the real one) if you havn't set the Trim setting in the green band (or set up the FMC properly so there IS a green band) and you apply takeoff thrust, the aircraft will give a trim warning of some sort. Much like if you hit Takeoff thrust with the flaps up or at 35/50 it will give you the Far-lap warning ;)

@Dominoes282 good question. by the way, the "stabilizer" is not a warning. it is an information that the trim is being set by the system. it is not a warning. just an info for the pilot.

@Dominoes282 no it is a voice info to let the pilot know that the stabilizer is moving. in boeings you hear this loud clack clack sound when the trim whell moves whether by the pilot or autopilot. the md 11 does not have the clack sound of the trim wheel.. it has the voice that says "stabilizer" that is basically it :-) maybe this explains it better.

@TheADLABerlin No, it isn't. That's the "stabilizer motion" warning. The "stabilizer" warning calls on takeoff when the trim isn't set for the takeoff correctly.
