This is a hollow victory. The Kings are so far out of the post season radar it is stupid to have a debate. Yeah, nice win but hardly changed the standings. Even if they made a run and squeeked in, they would be so beaten they wouldn`t make it past the first round.

The bottom line is the Kings were the better team that night. Luck had nothing to do with it. They chased after the loose pucks and were very aggressive in the offensive zone. Since the Ducks had four players in front of the net, Kopitar was left uncovered when he scored the first goal on the power play. The Ducks just made some stupid mistakes and couldn't recover from them.

i saw the kings rookie scrimmage online the other day and heard that Doughty is a major disappointment for being picked 2nd overall.
