Ginger is such an awesome kitteh. I never knew a cat would help another cat give birth. She's exceptional! It looks like Penny was so comforted to have Ginger with her. Congratulations to the new mom and grandmom! Love the Boo Boo kitties (all black and white cats are Boo Boo kitties, to me.)

@IStandForIsrael Ginger is awesome...and amazing. :D She's so smart. Penny really was glad to have Ginger there with her, you can tell. Ginger is a great little doctor/midwife. Actually, if I get sick, or upset Ginger comes to check on me. When I had an asthma attack once she kept driving my parents crazy trying to get in their room and woke them up and ran to me meowing to get them to come help me. :) She's just a doctor kitty all the way 'round! :D

I felt for Penny when she was laying there with her mouth open.

If we lived close I might like to adopt one of those kitties.

@ACruceSalus1 Indeed she is. :) I did too, she was hurting, I knew. So I just petted on her but tried to stay out of the way. She did wonderful though! And Ginger was a huge help to her. :)

Yeah, if you lived close enough I'd give you one of them when they were older.

Ginger did an excellent Job, I was just thinking while watching this video, It's amazing that a pair of cats, has more care & concern for their young, than some humans we see on the news leaving their's in trash cans or worse "Aborted", God Help us!! @mykidsdad36, sadly true...earlier today I watched a video by AWorldExposure about the Philadelphia Department of Human Services getting an out-of-state, late-term (24 weeks!) abortion for a teen whose foster mom and birth mom were against it!

@EncompassedRunner - I know, I've saw several of those kinds of storys lately. Now I'm no conspiracy theorist - But once fetal human life is of no value to a cultures government, it will not be long until the elderly,mentally challenged, and the poor are close behind.Millions of FEMA coffins are being shipped as we speak all across america, and why? Yeah, it really is, isn't it? I often think that when I see Ginger with kittens: She is almost a kidnapper cat--she LOVES kittens and so if she finds orphan kittens she will raise them...Ginger has more love for her babies than some humans. :(

But it is an amazing birth for sure!

Actually, cats usually from what I understand don't help another cat give birth too often because cats get territorial and protective over their babies and don't want other animals or humans around. But Penny lets Ginger right in the box and doesn't freak if I come near them. :) Thankfully.

That Ginger! Man she is attuned to everything! When one of us is sick, she is right on us and the SECOND Penny went into labor she was right in the box with Penny helping her out. It's just so rare to see an animal help another animal give birth like that and Ginger delivered Penny too, when she was born! :)
