hm, this is wierd, do you compete in NFLs. i do oratory in that, but our rules say that our speech has to be a persuasive a little moving. but i really enjoy your speech, its soo good

No, I've never done NFL, just NCFCA. And their interpretation of Original is a bit less restrictive. It says the speech can be humorous and doesn't have to be serious, so I took that and ran with it. lol

That was hilarious XD. I do OO too, but our rules disqualify you if you use overdramatic facial gestures and actions and start acting, and they also disqualify you if you ad lib and don't say exactly what was on the written speech you submitted for review. Guess that's why we've never had delegates give as fun speeches as yours!

Yep, I did it for Original Oratory because that was the only category that allowed me to do an original work. There was nothing in the rules against it, so it worked out fine.

Tips would be um... don't be boring, try to be creative and ad-lib a bit each time you do the speech, don't be afraid to go a little off-script, be yourself and do what you do best. Just let it flow, and you'll do great. :)
