Oreidm, you gotta understand that there's no way any group of old musicians can match their younger selves. It's just not possible. Having said that, and having seen Led Zeppelin in 69 in Syracuse, NY, I have to say this Reunion concert was a pretty remarkable performance for a group that hadn't played together in nearly 30 years. Check out some other vids they've done in earlier years, after they disbanded, and you'll see what I mean.

MESSAGE TO FANS AND CRITICS: The show was ok for 60 year olds trying to reclaim their old glory. I saw Zep at MSG 1975. The most recent incarnation does their legacy no favours. The concert confirmed that they are a shadow of their former selves. It was painful watching Plant trying to do justice to classics. Page lumped along missing cues. This was after tireless rehersals.

As a zep fan PLEASE be the last show.

I saw Zep June 25, 1977 at the Los Angeles Forum and was even listening to an audience recording of that '77 show before attending this one, and I'm sorry but I think they were AWESOME at the O2! I wouldn't trade this experience for a chest of gold and hope they DO do some more so fellow Zep fans who missed it can experience this, too! ZEPPELIN *STILL* RULES!!!! Fantastic job, boys... THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

WEll if you saw them in 75 @ that MSG show it was probably not so great, I haven't heard very much form that year where plant or the band was really tight. I think this is a little better than most '77 and '79 or 80 stuff I heard.

I got a lot of Zep high quality '75 shows, and I'm a musician and been playing for 15 years+. Regardless I know what sounds good, they've been chasing the glory after '73. I'm sure you barley remember what you did yesterday much less a Zep show you went to in '75 you burn out.
