This is the best remake movie I've ever seen. I thought before I saw it....heck, this is gonna suck, BUT it didn't. The only thing I can say I was a bit dissapointed about, was the fact that the zombies were running like shit. Haven't watched the remake of 'Day Of The Dead Yet'. Any recomandations?

damn though Ken Foree was in the remake..i saw it and totally didnt notice he was the main character of the original. it was very smart to use him as a cameo.
the Original is still one of my all time favorite films. so dynamic with horror, comedy,drama, emotions.

this isn't a bible verse; the whole zombie mythology is actually semitic, believe it or not. Ishtar, the babylonian godess, if she doesn't get to fuck some dude, she threatened to open the gates of hell so that the dead would devour the living. The Beduin Arabs had myths of the "ghul," or corpse man eaters from which we get the word "goul." All zombie mythology, pretty much has a middle eastern origin, specifically semitic.

My grandfather was an avid reader of the bible and he read to his children every day. My father remembers the time his father explained a part of revelations that says there will be a time when Death will cease to exist. People will not die, and it would be a horrible time for humans... The ill will remain ill and they would have to deal with the pain of their illness. the thought creeps me out.

Ernestina, This is during the tribulation after the rapture. The Bible states that people will seek death but will not find it, because they were the nonbelievers that were left behind. All who are saved will be taken up into Heaven with Jesus during the rapture.

I believe the scene itself is satire. The movie leaves the mystery of what the actual cause is; virus?, space dust?, judgement from God?, and allows every "expert" to offer an explanation. The movie doesnt really come off as anti-gay to me (or my gay friends) at all.
