I have scoliosis and I am 13.I have a huge backpack that my sister had and I don't even have a lot of stuff in it.I don't even need to bring textbooks.People say I need a rolling backpack but the school don't allovv thim.
i have scoliosis also and im 13 i need some thing that carres alot of stuffbut is not to hevaie i cant even stand up for about 14 mins that why i need soming light
@baseballbrook I have the same problem, probably not as bad, though. Every two weeks I go to the chiropractor and get a basic back and neck cracking, I also stretch a lot (A LOTTTT XD) drinking a lot of water helps hydrate the rings of muscle between your vertebrate and keep the loose. My backpack is an Ogio bookbag, just a normal backpack, two straps, very lightweight, holds a lot, very handy. I also drink Ensure chocolate drinks... THEY'RE FRIKKEN GOOD AS HELL! Good luck lmfao.
Heathergate 22: Best option for you is a back pack that has a padded waist belt. Most of the weight will rest on the hips instead of the shoulders. The shoulder straps just keep the pack stable. With scoliosis, weight on the hips should not adversely affect your condition.
i have a question. im 15 years old and at my school, i am not allowed to use a rolling backpack. i have scoliosis and any weight on my back makes bad back pain. do you have any ideas about specialized backpacks or better brands??? thanks!
