I have a HP G61 Notebook PC with 4 gigs of ram at the moment but I want more what do I do?

can i get those out and put more ram in ?

@Khaled0Sharara sure, windows xp or vista 32bit/win7 32bit support max. 4gb ram, the 64bit support much more :)

so you can easyly upgrade to 2x 2GB ram

if i was to buy bigger ram and done this would it just be like using a 'plug and play' device in the way of.. would i need to back up all my data, would i need to reinstall windows.. and so on or would it just be like changing a battary pack no installs easy to do and just restart my laptop and it will run faster with no data lost btw i know data is kept on your harddrive but its good to ask for advice when installing new hardware

@mc1mitchie in bios are all the needed drivers intigrated. you just need to put the ram in, not more. :)
