Are you telling me that you can shoot from 300-400m a moving target to HEAD on purpose?

I think you mostly shoot stationary targets from 50m to get your headshots.

IMO PR sniping is annoying though because... you can't do it.

You need to wait approximately a month to even have a change to try sniper rifle.

They gave us a breathing noise effect when you press 3 to indicate how long you need to wait to settle after moving, apart from that you just have to compensate for bullet drop if they're beyond 600m.

It's pretty easy when you remember those 2 things.

Yup, I knew that, I was talking (months ago?) about getting the _sniper kit_ that takes forever, but after I've played PR for many many hours, I'm been mostly using assault rifles for the first time of my life in game.

They are so deadly accurate and powerful that they are equivalent to vBF2 sniper rifle.

It takes time to get used to PR, you cannot just go and snipe always in that game.

Squad action has never been more fun :)

@swgoliath if target is less than 600m from u, there isn't much Bulletdrop, and wind doesn't affect it much. as the Bullet's velocity remains pretty high over 700m, when it starts to get some serious interaction with environments.

ofcourse this is variable from rifle to rifle, IRL and in-game, But the ranges i see him shooting in this vid are mostly -500m, so its just aim and shoot, no drop or wind to count in.

u need battlefield 1.4 patch first installed

it should all work my. servers don't come up until i hit update server list

also u will need a punk buster update. type in the error code into Google.

you will get this error code when u enter a server about 2 min after play

if u cant find the punk buster updater reply to this and ill email u the zip file its about 2 mb

i don't know the link to download it from i saved it to my hard drive for future installs

this game is worth the effort to get going
