Reading all these comments on the nature of suffering, God's punishment, etc... Why do you get to decide whether God should punish? You're not God. GOD is God. HE IS SOVEREIGN. That means He can do WHATEVER HE WANTS. Romans 9:14-21. Read it. It's not about us asking God why He chooses to do things. It's about simply accepting that HE IS GOD and we are not. We CANNOT attempt to force God into our limited mindset. We must accept that His reasoning is not our own, be OK with that and worship Him.

This song will always hold a place in my heart. A few years back, I was depressed, and was having suicidal thoughts. I was 12. Only 12. I heard this song one time at my church's youth group and I realized that I was broken inside but that I wasn't alone, and that I wasn't too far gone for God to take me back. Since then, I've been getting closer to God. Things are still tough, trust me. But now I know that I don't have to depend on hurting myself, I know I can turn to God. Bless you guys.

All my life I've had to be the strong one. Hold it together for my mom and my brother as we dealt with my abusive father. I've gotten punished for crying and because of it, I've put up a wall and hide my emotions from the world. I make them all think I'm fine when really I'm broken inside. This song is helping me to learn to let go. I'm not always going to be able to be the strong one. Sometimes you just have to let go and admit that you're not alright.

Theyre both failing school...My mother is getting divorced from him and I know how you feel...I am seriously screaming in my heart all the time ....Cling to God. I heard this song on a commercial for some church a few years back. I almost started crying. Then a few months after I saw the commercial I heard it on a church bus (When I was being forced to go) and I did cry. This song speaks to me but not in a religious sense. I do not believe in God. But I do believe in people.
@MrSlayerRs this video is saying that we are broken and lost without God by our side. It's saying that we're broken and that without God we will never be whole. It is also saying that the problems we face in life leads them to GOd and that they need him to get through it. I mean you could get through it but just barely.
My life has SUCKED this week, the girlfriend and I broke up, and i've come to realize how alone I am here at college, and i think we can argue all we want, but this song and video are fantastic, and the words are applicable for anyone. I had a horrible childhood.I am 14. My Mother died from Cancer.My Father went crazy from losing her. My Brother turned to gangs and drugs and liqour. I Was raped,beaten and punished for things that were not bad. I was forced to be the "House Wife". I Listen to this song every morning befor a hard day. This song has made me learn to tell someone about my life and what is going on in it. I told a teacher at school. I know live with my Aunt and folow In the Lord Jesus Christ. I Left My Past Behind!

I was with a girl for a year and 4 months and 23 days, We met in %th grade, were now in nineth, I've always loved her, But I never knew how easy it would be to give myself to her, and now that I have, She and I are no longer together,and My dads passing away quickily, and she's always been my rock as i've been hers, and now I have no idea how to function, my father is all I have left. @xxxemoBxxx its tough i know, when i was in 7th grade, my cosins turned to crime, i was constently brutaly hurrassed, and both grandparents passed, the one thing that kept me going is looking foward to what the next day would bring with the hopes that i still have a life to live, as i said i know its hard, just look towards the future, and all will be ok

This song will always hold a place in my heart. A few years back, I was depressed, and was having suicidal thoughts. I was 12. Only 12. I heard this song one time at my church's youth group and I realized that I was broken inside but that I wasn't alone, and that I wasn't too far gone for God to take me back. Since then, I've been getting closer to God. Things are still tough, trust me. But now I know that I don't have to depend on hurting myself, I know I can turn to God. Bless you guys.

All my life I've had to be the strong one. Hold it together for my mom and my brother as we dealt with my abusive father. I've gotten punished for crying and because of it, I've put up a wall and hide my emotions from the world. I make them all think I'm fine when really I'm broken inside. This song is helping me to learn to let go. I'm not always going to be able to be the strong one. Sometimes you just have to let go and admit that you're not alright.

Theyre both failing school...My mother is getting divorced from him and I know how you feel...I am seriously screaming in my heart all the time ....Cling to God. @alifoster15 I feel like I have to be strong too. I've always felt like my brother would care about me if I was strong like him I've always hated to let people see me cry unless I really know them. I've always been hiding behind barriers, and I don't trust anyone with my secrets. God is the only one I can confide in, but sometimes I just need someone to tell me "I know your not." When I tell them I'm fine. I'm there with you too.

I heard this song on a commercial for some church a few years back. I almost started crying. Then a few months after I saw the commercial I heard it on a church bus (When I was being forced to go) and I did cry. This song speaks to me but not in a religious sense. I do not believe in God. But I do believe in people.

My life has SUCKED this week, the girlfriend and I broke up, and i've come to realize how alone I am here at college, and i think we can argue all we want, but this song and video are fantastic, and the words are applicable for anyone. We were not meant to be prideful people, we all need someone to go to when we "are not alright." My thanks be to God that i don't have to hide behind anything and He is so willing to lead me when i'm not strong, and Man... I'm not.
