i dig this version. the vocal & its lyrics are are brilliant and still as touching in the album version, and i think the dainty vibraphone and pumping chorus percussion are a good addition :)
Yeah, I hear what you're saying. I personally like the album version better but it was still cool to see a unique twist to the song. Todd at Mirr World (mirrworld.blogspot.com) wrote a good review of the show and mirrored our thoughts on this particular version.
was anyone else upset that he sped this song up and added more instrumentation? i was really disappointed, cause i've always loved this song and it's one of those songs that needs to be totally stripped.
