The stitch is double crochet..

2 rows of yellow,

1 row of navy blue

2 rows of light blue,

1 row of navy blue.

Alternate colors with 1 row of navy blue between each color change.

I find contrasting colors work well for this pattern. Thanks for your comments.

Such a beautiful poncho. Do you also do ponchos for adults? There's no one on Youtube that shows you how to start. I guess it's because they take long to do.
