First place: DmC Why? Because Dante is awesome. Not to mention it takes some serious skills to finish that game on a higher difficulty (the average GoW fan will probably fail the game on 'easy mode')
Second Place: PoP Why? Because it's a classic and 'Warrior Within' was fucking awesome.

If you like a game with a good story and mind boggling puzzles. Prince of Persia is for you.
If you like extreme violence and bloodshed(for no apparent reason) but with a gameplay and story that doesn't suck so bad, choose God of War.

Story-The main story is that the demon world has been sealed off ever since DMC3! The why the hell did demons keep coming every time! And in DMC4, the gate to the demon world can be open by Yamato? What ever happened to the two amulets! It's like they never existed! The story is just a plain mess. DMC4 haven't got a story at all!
Gameplay-I'll admit that when it comes to this, it's the best. The fighting is just epic. You'll never get tired of it! Plus the usage of "Stylish"...

Hell, even fighting Cerberus in DMC3 and GOW is totally different. You'll never get bosses like that in GOW. Some people say that Nero isn't great since he uses Buster like GOW. But let me tell these people that they made the buster moves for the bosses different. Sometimes players don't even know if they could...
@L3irus (DMC review continued)... use buster(example: Credo's spear). Bosses don't usually show that they are weak so that you could use buster on them! Using Dante can't disappoint players either(especially in DMC4 where he can have 6 weapons and 5 styles.)
Summary: All in all, DMC has got the best of the gameplay despite the fact that it's story line is messed up ever since Capcom tries to make DMC2 and 4.

Gameplay-Much better gameplay that POP. But the truth is, people get bored after seeing the same finishing moves on the same bosses(since you can't win unless you use it!). Plus, if you think about it, why are the monsters so stupid enough to fall for the same trap(one simple example:Minotaur)

Warrior Within had the most sales in POP Trilogy and was played by much serious people. It was mature. Good game or not it was definitely much better than Sands Of Time and had a combat system of its own (rather than hack n slash) which games of today like Batman have incorporated.
@hotbodyboy New album of Nightwish had the most sales, which doesn't make it as something that I'll listen to. I'll stick to the original trilogy of albums Oceanborn, Angels Fall First and Century Child. :S
Just telling you - most sales makes it even worse. Quantity over quality.
Out of all three games I enjoyed the most in God of War since there wasn't even a slight possibility of repeating same actions of different enemies. For each enemy there was something new and it's a major plus.
PoP : SOT (unoriginal trilogy) was repetitive to hell, made me to be bored most of the time.
Devil May Cry was ok. I don't like to express myself about this game to those who see DMC as "just another game" since they don't even deserve to understand how great whole game and anime are.
Prince of Persia Sands of Time (Unoriginal trilogy) is rated T for Teens, a.k.a 12 year old kids can play it. Therefore it sucks.
Devil May Cry is filled with blood, the game and Anime, therefore making it rated M for mature (language, actions ect)
God of War is unique masterpiece of pure gaming art starting from concepts up to the whole trilogy packet. It's pure interactive Game with so many possibilities! Also, there're scenes of sex, nudity, EXTREME gore etc thus making it M for mature. GOW
i dont know much about devil may cry but prince could kill kratos if the prince beat the devil looking guy in the new game using his time powers kratos would be confused and would die plus i think if the prince had all his powers i dont think devil may cry guy would last cuz the prince can just slow time down enough that the prince gets 100 shots in with his sword

gow can turnpeople into bastards enough to drown a goldfish- god of war tried to make a game like devil may cry- where do u think they got red orbs, green orbs, and powerups? It's a wannabe that can't compete.
GOW- easy with pathetic enemies, unoriginal powerup system, repetitive gameplay- game u play blindly while mashing buttons.
DMC- incredible gameplay, great challenge, solid timing, smart enemies and bosses, great story, best action series of all time. DMC>GOW

i think prince of persia is one of those first game of these types and it started briliantly and the storyline is awesome and it might influece slightly to how god of war is produced later but who cares which one is better, i love all these 3!!! a bit biased to GOW though :P

That's a horrible reason. SOT for teen? Have u even tried Warrior Within. Both DMC and POP have had some influences which make GOW achieve something as awesome as GOW 3.....

@hotbodyboy I'm not the one who made the game nor I am the one who rated that game T for teens. And as far as I've seen Prince of Persia was playable by kinds from my surrounding at game centers. God of War was played by much serious people who were at least 20 years old.
Excuse me, I'm not here to argue with you. You may like my oppinion based on facts, you may not. It's your decision. GOW 3 is as important as other GOW releases. Difference is based upon platforms and that's it. EssentailSTORY

Warrior Within had the most sales in POP Trilogy and was played by much serious people. It was mature. Good game or not it was definitely much better than Sands Of Time and had a combat system of its own (rather than hack n slash) which games of today like Batman have incorporated.

Out of all three games I enjoyed the most in God of War since there wasn't even a slight possibility of repeating same actions of different enemies. For each enemy there was something new and it's a major plus.
PoP : SOT (unoriginal trilogy) was repetitive to hell, made me to be bored most of the time.
Devil May Cry was ok. I don't like to express myself about this game to those who see DMC as "just another game" since they don't even deserve to understand how great whole game and anime are.

Prince of Persia Sands of Time (Unoriginal trilogy) is rated T for Teens, a.k.a 12 year old kids can play it. Therefore it sucks.
Devil May Cry is filled with blood, the game and Anime, therefore making it rated M for mature (language, actions ect)
God of War is unique masterpiece of pure gaming art starting from concepts up to the whole trilogy packet. It's pure interactive Game with so many possibilities! Also, there're scenes of sex, nudity, EXTREME gore etc thus making it M for mature. GOW

i dont know much about devil may cry but prince could kill kratos if the prince beat the devil looking guy in the new game using his time powers kratos would be confused and would die plus i think if the prince had all his powers i dont think devil may cry guy would last cuz the prince can just slow time down enough that the prince gets 100 shots in with his sword

Well maybe the Blade of Olympus would kill Dante. But PoP is more fun for me. Platforming more then Hack N Slashes. GoW3 I have to admit was more then a decent game though.

Okey this is is what i think. DMC is pure win. but if it was against charecters i have to say that kratos wins. just becuse dude he´s a god of war!! GOW is stupid and fucking pointless button mashing against pathetic enemies while controlling a gay fag in a skirt. DMC easily scores a 10 on gameplay - actually a challenge, combos rape god of war combos, and music is more than toga faggots singing. U get rewarded for combos in dmc because it's more than button mashing, and more fun, too. The gameplay and overall of any 1 dmc will more than surpass all gows
