  • Faster than my 09 mac LOL

  • does it usually take you this long to load a game?

  • @Smartiepg I played it today and i have new hardware to what i have in this video, and no...it loads like windows :)

  • Seeing this makes me think, I must be to stupid to get TF2 working.

After all, it runs in menu but as soon as I try to start/join a game the game closes.

  • @MegaManNeo really? I literally played it 2 days ago in Linux and when you give it 2 minutes playing time it equals how it runs in windows if not better!

  • @Jakejw93 Don't know how you achieved that. When I play it jerks around, and destroies the gameplay.

  • @oLACHESISo I actually play it a lot in Linux, probably my most played game lols, the first few minutes its a big laggy then it runs great after

  • @Jakejw93Any advice on what to do besides playonlinux, or the instructions set out on winehq?

  • @oLACHESISo If you want to know what i do then i installed steam through playonlinux, and then run the shortcut off my desktop and installed TF2 through steam and it ran from there, don't think i did much else..

  • @Jakejw93 What version of Ubuntu are you on? What is your g card?

  • @oLACHESISo I am on ubuntu 10.10, the card in the video was a crappy nvidia 8600gt, where as now i have a GTX 470

  • @Jakejw93 Ok, because I have a crappy ATI HD 4500. Plays fine on Windows, but maybe I need a upgrade.

  • why is there sooooo much more on the PC Vinson

  • @mattafields whaaat? this is the pc version, just about a year ago

  • @Jakejw93 I would like to see if you could get this running again. Because to be honest, I can only get it to run for 10 minutes before it locks up the entire system...

  • I miss the old TF2 interface.... D;

  • Looooong load time

  • Sorry to be double posting, but after some research I found out the only fix to this is by doing the following. Open up the console and type "snd_restart" which will restart the sound without having to restart the client! Now you don't even have to exit the server you're on.

  • @H4x0r18 Thats brilliant man, Thanks for the heads up..i used to experience sound problems but they seemed to have disappeared

  • When I play Team Fortress 2 in Wine, it will work perfectly most of the time. Other times the sound will randomly cut off which annoys me cause I got to quit everytime and restart the game. Is there a fix for the sound?

  • @H4x0r18 i have that same problem on my mac (im not a linux)

  • Since war update I have never gotten it to work, Always crashes on "Sending client info..."

Sucks because I want to get away from Faildos.

  • @Gird3r Shite....Well it seems to work fine with me lately, Better then what it does in the video...Like i dont have the graphical bug on the doors at the start anymore

  • how much fps do you have?No crap lag?

  • @Zebrius2 On the video i get horrible lag due to recordmydesktop being on in the background, But in the game it usually runs fine with everything on low detail

  • @Jakejw93 ok il try,you have problem with key bindings like press Q but work like E?

  • @Zebrius2 nope all my keys work fine

  • Check the 'about me' on my channel

  • What hardware are you running this on??

  • aaaarggghhhhhhh...... crappy PC!!!!!!

  • @shift2121 Cheers mate ;) ^_^
