  • no gi is the only way to train... for functionality and realism. thanks for posting.

  • admitedly it was a judo fight but nice throw nonetheless!

  • just judo....you know?

  • so all i saw was one guy getting thrown to the ground...that doesn't tell us anything...wtf...and doesn't the bjj guy wanna be on the ground anyway...

  • shoulda pulled guard haha

  • hmm... a Judo match between a black belt Judo fighter, and a blue belt BJJ fighter. i wonder who would win?

  • @ShiizHD Under judo rules, probably the judo guy. Under BJJ rules, probably the BJJ guy. A first degree black belt in judo who competes a lot has probably been doing judo about as long as the blue belt. The ranking systems between the two styles are not the same.

  • rofl too many foolz complaining about this being not fair cos its judo rules... but it wouldnt be fair either if it was BJJ rules lol so whats the fucking difference lol they are both great martial arts and both have very close ties... i know as i train in both

  • why dont you take a black belt BJJ fighter and that black belt Judo fighter and it might be more even !!

  • @MsTrickJay Not if they're fighting under Judo rules and the BJJ guy isn't used to being thrown. That's why it's impossible to predict who would beat who using what style because there's way too many variables.

  • judo is the bomb... most juijitsu guys can throw worth a dam.... period... and most can choke or armlock worth a dam either ... they however excel at sitting down and hugging

  • @fitDavid123 ur mom excels with sitting down and hugging my d!ck. :D

  • @manahanalex123 lmao ikr

  • Ok, that was short........

  • Not really impressive a blue belt in judo could have thrown that guy look at his posture.

  • i would have to agree with you that it is dependent upon the fighter not the style. the impossible for a jujitsu player to win against a judo player standing is a little silly unless the opponent rolls into the matches during jujitsu. all fights start on your feet . ju jitsu vs this and this vs that is only decided between the two arguing in combat

  • wtf no one won, the judo guy just got a take down thats it, very likly the bjj guy would of had him in the gard or swept in no time, had the continue to fight, just look at mma

  • @71hotansexy The judo guy won, because it was a judo match.

  • nice fight, (im a jiu jitsu fighter)

  • its the gentle way, bjj doesn't have a chance with judo guys.

  • this people cant fight lol..

  • Judo doesn't always win dipshit.

  • had better to add the words "under Judo rule" to the title.

  • This is Judo not BJJ fuckgoof!

  • I don't know a lot about BJJ but maybe they need to incorporate judo standing techniques into the system.

  • @seanadupre Judo came from a Japanese JuJutsu system. BJJ was then created out of Judo. The BJJ creators took the parts of the art and tweaked them to make them "more" effective. In doing so they took out most of the standing techniques. They still teach some standing techniques but they are certainly inferior to this gentleman's skill level in Judo.

  • @JJJBuzzsaw I know that BJJ came from Judo but what i meant was BJJ doesn't seem to have enough standing techniques.

  • it's funny cuz everyone in bjj always says o he was about to take it to the ground or he wasn't ready no matter what judo will always win!

  • hahahahahaha exellent Uchi Mata

  • this is a judo fight, no BJJ whatsoever

  • @arkeivi You can tell from his constantly bending over that the guy in the blue gi was BJJ.

  • @TenteixSaigo that doesnt mean anything, a lot of judo fighters do that, specially when they are not too technical

  • @arkeivi In judo you're told to stand up. It's a new rule. Also, there is no blue belt in judo.

  • @TenteixSaigo The bending over is a way of defense, not an attempt to take the fight to the ground wich is also valid in judo and it is called newaza. The blue belt is the second in judo, right after the white belt and before the yellow.

  • @arkeivi There is no blue belt in judo. You go straight from white to yellow. You're talking to a judoka, so you can't lie to me!

  • @TenteixSaigo Depending on your age and where you live (in the US for example) a blue belt in judo is the equal to a san kyu (brown belt.) But was created for children under 17.

  • @0601HM These are 2 US competitiors OVER 17. So his belt is in BJJ

  • @TenteixSaigo I am a third degree black belt, the only way of the "judo" u practice not have a blue belt is if u do it in portugal, do some research

  • @arkeivi In the USA if you do judo and you are in the senior division, you do not have blue belts. I suggest you do research

  • @TenteixSaigo for sure man, there are many reasons for me to research american judo, I should've done it years ago

  • @arkeivi It's also not a fight. It's a match under Judo rules so judo wins ... Wow! what a fucking surprise.

  • And if this were a ground match or MMA, Jiu jitsu would dominate.

  • nobody there fight jiujitsu =/ sorry

  • This is a awsome throw,

  • I dunno but I think this will be funny for some people. When BJJ came to the country I reside in, people were scared of fighting BJJ guys. So I went to a bar with some of my friends who practice BJJ. One of them got drunk and started talking to a girl. Her bf came and my friend said, "Let's go outside. I am a BJJ brown belt. I will own you mofo." Once outside, they bf pulled a .38 magnum revolver, and my friend was like, "Woah man, this is supposed to be a fair fight!" It was scary but funny.

  • I practice OJKD and follow its philosophy, but I aim for real life situations. Not like a street fight but like, if I get robbed or something. But anyways, I've learned not to underestimate or overestimate someone just because of their style or build. I've seen things happen because of that. On the streets people don't have a tag that says, "I practice BJJ" or "Hi, I'm a boxer" try not to be cocky and always respect the opponent. It would suck to get owned by a random joe in front of everyone.

  • Why did the Jiu-Jitsu BlueBelt even try to beat a Judo Black Belt in his own game. I'm a Jiu-Jitsu guy and of course I would root for the Jiu-Jitsu guy but that was poor planning.

  • @agmart100 I totally agree! in a no rules tournament match this fight would have gone another way...

  • @rettek808 not even in no rules... in the modern era of grappling judo and jiu-jitsu are completely different. Judo is now "sport" judo, the objective is to throw the opponent and grappling is minimal. At one point Judo and Jiu Jitsu were once the same, but Judo now is washed up and the use of submissions is very small. In a grappling match it would be very competitive. In a gi, it would be a toss up. In nogi, I would have to lean towards the Jiu Jitsu player forsure.

  • @agmart100 Yeah! Iʻm a brown belt in judo and would hate to go on the ground with a Jiu-Jitsu competitor! One thing I hate about it is that you canʻt do leg locks in judo tournaments... However! I do like how it teaches you to have a better stand up game since most matches/fights starts in standing position. Overall i think its good to have both arts in competition.

  • a blue belt agaist black belt?? come on!!!!!

  • @bluepitbull666 bjj was invented from judo. Only thing that bjj have is leg locks that are forbiden in judo competitions because of injuries. Also judo is more supreme in then bjj in locks and holds.

  • Brazilian jiu jitsu is far more superior than judo.

  • that was a good Uchi Mata but it doesn't sum up the two martial arts, bad vid lol

  • uchi mata?

  • however i really believe to be able to defend yourself in wildlife you should have knowledge and experience of and in:

striking, grappling, throws, tosses(like pushing foe with palm to offbalance him and start combo), jointlocks, disarming foes, and parkours free running for perfect balance in the craziest situation and to escape in reallyreally extreme situations

grappling&locks might sound the same for beginner but you can grab opponent and then strike too, or throw ofcourse, choke him whatev

  • furthermore: if you do a throw in street fight, you always have the choice to go with your opponents body and land on him using your elbow to his throat, or just foot stomping him when he tries to get up

if you do a joint lock, standing or on the ground , you have partial control over your opponents body, enabling you to use it against himself or his buds + if its real street fighting and your facing superior numbers or armed foes, youre relatively free to break whatever bone you feel like

  • people saying martial arts cant be used in street fighting usually are either:

    - being bullied

    - bringing weapons to simple brawls

    - only strong when with friends

its effective to powerfully grab one of your opponents drag him towards you to keep his buds from attacking and while doing that you constantly keep looking for good and safe chances to inflict damage on your opponents because your trained so

quick judgement and reflexes is part of good training too like strength stamina and speed

  • I want to thanks to youtube for letting me read comments from the most experienced street fighters in the world :)

  • jiu jitsu is adapted from judo, certain aspects are the same..take competitions,,judo throws are allowed in jiu jitsu tournaments and since the introduction of MMA there is no PERFECT art..but WITHOUT Jiu Jitsu and u get taken down. lets just say ur gonna have a REAL BAD DAY

  • @welsh I can tell your bias!!!! I'm a bjj student and i'll say that grappling if its bjj wrestling or judo is a much better base to have for mma or just street fighting 1 on 1. I like mauy tai and boxing kick boxing and all stand up arts and respect them but its been proven that you can have an average stand up game and a killer ground game and be champ in the UFC not the same can be said for stand up fighters with a limited ground game they can only have a few highlight knock outs

  • lol judo and bjj is a waste of time learning it as a complete martial art people, pls i know u most probally will go to the ground once but thats just becuz the pussy cant fight u standing, u shud just train in stadning arts so u nail them when they come close, grappling arts suck and they always will do

  • @WelshMuay your really showing off your lack of knowledge about the sport.

  • that was fucking awesome dude!

  • I think this short clip is indicative of the weakness of both arts- when improperly taught- modern BJJ often negates the standing element of self-defence, and much competition judo rewards sacrificial throws that could potentially be suicidal in freestyle grappling contests, or in self-defence.

  • @williamwilson666 i could not agree more with this statement.

  • @williamwilson666 that throw was not sacrificial. he landed on the guy he threw. guess who's getting hurt there? not the black belt.

  • @keeponblinking Giving up your back or giving up top position in a a non-judo rules tournament is potentially suicidal. If you don't KO or disable your opponent you are in a world of trouble. This throw assumes the fight is over with the throw- in the real world that is often not the case.

  • @williamwilson666 Okay, genius.

  • @keeponblinking I don't know why you are being so prickly with me. Neither Judo nor BJJ are my martial art, but I have trained with good people from both styles, and I think this element of practice causes unnecessary problems in self-defence. I am not trying to denigrate either art.

  • @williamwilson666 You should read "Falling Hard: A Journey into the World of Judo" by Mark Law. In the book, Law talks about an incident in Japan where a black belt judoka was involved in a bar fight with two other males. When this judoka threw the first assailant, he broke his neck - he's now paralyzed from the neck down. When he threw the second guy, he killed him. The point being, many times when a successful judo throw is executed, the fight is over... instantly.

  • @keeponblinking "Many" times is not every time- or even the majority of times, least of all when dealing with someone who know how to fall. And, in this instance, the percentage of leverage in favour of the thrower is VERY low. There is very little distance between the BJJ player and the floor, and he arrives there at low speed. A basic grasp of physics tells you if he doesn't land awkwardly or on something, he won't be badly hurt. This is HIGH risk move. Fanciful far East tales mean little...

  • @williamwilson666 Shut up

  • @keeponblinking You want to learn a few manners, sunshine. You'll live longer.

  • @williamwilson666 Are you intentionally trying to make yourself look stupid?

  • @keeponblinking I assure you, if that were my intention I would succeed. You have demonstrated yourself above such conceits, and for that I congratulate you.

  • @williamwilson666 You're a moron

  • @keeponblinking I'll take your word for it, sonny. Martial arts is something I know a fair bit about, when it comes to retardation, you are black belt material.

  • @williamwilson666 Wow, that was really clever. You're clever.

  • @keeponblinking Yes.

  • @keeponblinking and that goes especcially for throws on hard ground like concrete and in real wildlife fight you can always choose to apply additional pressure by landing on your opponent with your elbow or foot stomping the exact moment he lands on the ground, thats real killing techniques you go to prison for if you use them in the wrong situation

  • soooo no what, i dont get it... so he wins? because he made his back hit the ground? boy am i glad i'm not in that sport... i prefer to win by ripping limbs off or choking people unconscious

  • @JMoore4291 imagine landing on your back like that on pavement. i'd like to see you get up after

  • @keeponblinking umm... ok, this was a weak ass throw dude, most of the damage came from him sitting on him, i think i'll be "tough enough" to stand up after someone sits on me man

  • Its almost imposible that a BJJ can Win a standing match to a Judo fighter in a Judo Tournament, BJJ is more focuses in Ground, Im a Black Belt Judo but I have a lot of respect for all the martial arts style, you dont beat a martial art style, you beat a fighter, all martial arts styles have pros and cons, we must improve the weakness and take advantage of the pros, Im always trying to learn from others styles to improve my fighting skills, BJJ is an excellent martial arts like all the others.

  • @berasencio1 BJJ is just Kosen Judo

  • @berasencio1 Thats really well said, especially the 'You beat a fighter' quote. I might use that in future :P

  • Or you could fight like an actual human being and use a weapon... Cause we're the only species on earth that can do that, which makes us the best warriors of all species on EARTH!!! >.>

  • @berasencio1 Its not the FIGHTER! Its the material art "STYLE" you probably lie about that you have Black belt judo thats why you are saying no-sense things ... If its up to the fighter then a strong "STREET FIGHTER" can beat strong "KICKBOXING,BJJ,JUDO,Muay Thai FIGHTER"

A black belt fighter will not say that you probably LIE!

I train MMA Kickboxing 4 years and 6 months and BJJ 1 year and 11 months, my score is 12 wins 3 lose. And im telling that its up to the style and who trains you!

  • @BasshuterZ I agree with u...halfway...cuz it is the style and who teaches u to a certain point...but u also have to be a good fighter to be good at the style..Im not saying ur wrong, just trying to offer a different view on things

  • @BountyHuntFH95 Fighter's will be always good if they are well paid and well trained.

Good style + Money + Awesome Trainer = Amazing Fighter

That's how things are going in this world.

  • @BasshuterZ fighters get paid?

  • @BountyHuntFH95 I should laugh or cry?

  • @BasshuterZ well probably laugh cuz The fact i didnt know is stupid XD

  • @berasencio1 that is one of the most intelligent comments that I have seen in youtube concerning martial arts, could not have put it any better myself

  • @berasencio1 Very nicely put. I wish more people who understand the concept of Martial Attitude and the Way would comment on here. Not everything is a brawl or streetfight. There are rules that can significantly shape the outcome of an event in one direction or the other in all competitions. Respect this for what it is, two martial artists who have mutual respect for the art and each other doing what they enjoy. You sir, seem to celebrate this in the way it was meant to be appreciated. Nice post

  • @JJJBuzzsaw You made a very valuable point that I argue as to why I do NOT approve of these so called "MMA" competitions. It goes against basic principle of martial arts such as "not striking a downed opponent", if in "mma" the rules were that once the fight goes to the ground it's all PURE wrestling and bjj, then it would be more interesting to watch, but a lot of morons always say "but if you're fighting in the streets it will happen". This is NOT the street, it's competitive SPORTS!!

  • @berasencio1 Holy shit you explained that like a pro lol.

  • Judo still think even better?? a practitioner of judo for ten years and a blue joke even two

  • ta foi so 2 pontos nada demais e ainda um judoca faixa preta e um jiu jitero azul!!!!

    JIU JITSU RAPPAA!!

  • Each has their own strengths. Practice both is the best option.

  • Man, I can't STAND BJJ. Something about only focusing (OK almost only) on Newaza and INSISTING that the fight ALWAYs go to the ground to me is COMPLETELY retarded. The fight starts- BJJ guy: quick fall down to the ground and try to drag the other guy with you. Judoka: dude, get off me, what are you doing? Oh, you want to be down there, throws BJJ to the mat. I just LOVE how BJJ guys just grab you and fall down. To hell with learning or trying to throw someone there.

  • This is a video of a bjj blue belt against a judo black belt in a freaking judo match! No shit he got thrown!!! This is just dumb.

  • Jiu jitsu dançooooooou kkkkk

  • bjj and any type of martial art is meant to bring peace between so stop fighting about stupid things, grow up.

  • Gotta love reading all the fights that break.out between people who'll never meet in real life xD

  • I'm not saying Judo is bad or BJJ is better, I'm just responding to this douche bag WoOoo who thinks Judo is so supreme to BJJ

  • @np494609 ur an idiot go back to school

  • @wo0oo1 I'm in my academy every day son, that's why I know I would crush you, simple mat time

  • @np494609 no u dont shut up i hate people like u who claim to do everything everyday of their life when they dont know anything i looked up ur master and it happens to be that he does judo too hahahaha ur a fail just dont talk anymore uve just embarrased urself

  • @wo0oo1 No! Really, I didn't know Master Lloyd was a Judo National Champion. You are a fucking moron. That was my whole point from the beginning, BJJ train Judo as well. This is a man that I see on a regular basis and you're gonna tell me whats up? You're sad

  • @wo0oo1 You probably have little to no striking ability

  • @np494609 yeah sure ive been doing muay thai for 2 and a half years

  • am I the only person who's gonna say that's an awesome uchi-mata? :)

  • But won't bjj win when you take them to the floor lol. Well unless the Judo guy is still standing.

  • put judoka vs BJJ in a grappling match and see what happens..very dumb video you got there.

  • @TheTopStriker exactly cuz 6/10 the BJJ player can avoid the throw which is really most of a Judoka's game. Then it goes to the ground where the BJJ guy will 9/10 win if he's any good

  • @TheTopStriker that's wierd cause cause when royce gracie arguably the best bjj practitioner in the world face yoshida a very strong judo fighter in an mma match in which both fighters agreed not to strike, without using a take down yoshida tapped out royce.......fucking americans and there bjj these days

  • @kmtatyou Yoshida is MMA fighter, he is trained to fight everywhere, but he likes to use his judo, he's also submitted by american fighter and has lost several times in his career..and I'm not american.

Just put traditional judoka vs traditional bjj in a judo/grappling match then see what happens.

  • @TheTopStriker it doesnt matter if yoshida i an mma fighter it was in pride and they both agreed not to strick so there for niether of them wore gloves neither one threw a strike neither one used a slam but yet yoshida still submitted royce

  • @kmtatyou It does matter, If you learn bjj and other aspects of mma you have more tools, thats what happened in pride at that day, and royce isnt the best bjj practitioner out there, where I live in Belgium we have one of the best european judokas who come and practice bjj, they get overwhelmed and submitted by brown belts and purple belts and thats a fact.

  • They are both MMA fighters, Yoshida is not a "Judoka" he is an MMA fighter, which means he also learns BJJ. And I don't know what Americans have to do with this... Americans are just human beings like everyone else, some like BJJ and some like Judo, and some like tennis, or drawing pictures etc... Stop stereo typing others, it makes you look ignorant.

  • @kmtatyou AMEN!!!

  • @TheTopStriker Yoshida beat Royce Gracie in Pride.

  • @UndeadPyro As I explained before, Yoshida is trained for MMA not only judo. I don't see efectiveness of judo in that fight.

  • @UndeadPyro No man, yoshida lied to the referee, Royce didn´t tapped out. If you watch their second fight you will se the royce superiority.

  • @adrielvichi Royce passed out, Yoshida didn't lie to the ref at all, he informed the ref that Royce was out so he could stop the match.

  • @UndeadPyro Royce did not passed out, he said this on a interview

  • @adrielvichi Royce is a liar. If you watch the fight you can see when he passes out because his left hand drops limply at his side. In fact, the entire Gracie family is full of shit. They've got this lie going that they've never lost a fight. Helio lost to Kimura in the 50s. Royce has lost numerous matches, and was even busted for steroid use. Fuck Him, and fuck your dumbass, blind devotion to him. Gracies? More like DISgracies.

  • @UndeadPyro He could not stand up too fast if he passed out.

  • @adrielvichi And he didn't. He lost. The Gracies have lost before. They just don't want to admit it because they have this legend of religious proportions that they have never been defeated and that their art is the ultimate martial art (which is bullshit, there is no such thing.)

  • judo wins this one

  • I'm a BJJ guy but learning some Judo, that looked like UCHI MADA, Is that so Judo guys?

  • @np494609 Yes it is Uchi Mata.

  • @MiroslavAdice Nice, I've been drilling that throw a lot lately cuz it's good for a guy with my body type, (short and strong). I feel like it is good to get under the opponents weight. You have any recommendations for strong throws for a wrestler-build? Thanks

  • @np494609 Hm, for short ones( including me, I'm 177), low leg throws are good. Tell me what do you think of Tai Otoshi?

  • WWE IS BETTER THAN THIS 11111111

  • @wo0oo1 In BJJ you don't pull guard unless the other person is like a judo black belt or something, and if you do its call "Guard" for a reason. If done right they shouldn't be able to punch or kick you with any force at all. Then sweep or submit.

  • @wukepingu Thank you i tried to tell this ignoramus that, I think he also forgot that BJJ has all the wrestling takedowns which are banned from Judo lol

  • @wukepingu np49609 u are an idiot. this guy just made my point 100% thankyou

  • bjj is rubbish. u pussys just drop into your guard and try submit someone. in reality its so stupid if u were to use it as self defence ur just going to get your head kicked in how are u even going to fight back its useless while somebody who does judoka can throw people or take them down

  • @wo0oo1 Haha you're wrong. Part of BJJ is Judo, so it's imperative that we learn strong throws in addition to a ground game, especially for street defense. Part of BJJ is single and double leg takedowns, as well as other wrestling techniques, which excuse me if I'm mistaken are banned from Judo! LOL. I think a Judoka or a BJJ player can beat 95% of people on the street and I doubt that a good judo player will fight a good BJJ player. This debate is silly.

  • @np494609 ur an idiot just shut up u clearly do not know the rules of judo. u can do double leg takedowns because i do them. bjj stand up is terrible do not say u guys practise alot standing up because u guys are hopeless. the other day the runner up for bjj blackbelt division came in and average judokas were putting him down so easily.

  • @wo0oo1 No you can't, single and double leg takedowns are banned unless the other guy goes for a throw first. I speak for myself and my school, LLoyd Irvin, and we do practice stand up. You're talking a lot of shit, but guess what? In MMA, the ultimate combat sport, BJJ guys do way better than Judo guys, no questions asked. That's not even up for debate. BJJ reigns supreme bitch

  • @np494609 ur an idiot just judo does just as much as bjj in mma. u clearly do not know ur facts. anderson silva nogueira gsp all have judo ur talking shit by saying bjj is supreme ur clearly wrong and u should just shut up. u do not know anything about judo seeing as u can do double leg takedowns as i do them. go back to ur school and learn something before u understand anything

  • @wo0oo1 Wow you have got to be the dumbest son of a bitch I;ve talked to. I didn't say NO GUYS IN MMA HAVE JUDO, I said "BJJ guys do much better than Judo players in MMA" and that is a fact not even up for debate. Nogueira/Silva actually use BJJ as their base grappling art I know people in Brasil who train with them. Learn to read

  • @np494609 u dont know anyone from brazil that train them shut up thinking ur all professional

  • @wo0oo1 that's a great justification for your argument: double leg takedowns are allowed because I do them. ROFL and what belt are you? Probably aren't even a brown yet, I can tell by ignorant you sound

  • @np494609 hahaha well ur wrong already i am a black belt 1 dan. ur saying im ignorant but look at urself with ur ROFL and "bjj is supreme bitch" please get off ur computer screen and train instead of talking shit when u are wrong everyone reading this will just be thinking u are an idiot . i know for a fact ur not anywhere near a blackbelt and im guessing uve been to ur gym about 5 times and ur talking as if u know everything.

  • @wo0oo1 I'll bet I'd crush you in an MMA bout. Your Judo won't mean shit when those Thai kicks destroy your legs

  • @np494609 hahahaha u up for the challenge? i do mma and muay thai too u idiot hahahaha

  • @wo0oo1 Really huh? Black belt 1 Dan, why don't you post some of your matches?? You surely have some recordings of your matches at Nationals or regional competitions if your half as good as you say are

  • sure thing i will put one up

  • judo ruls

  • I like this video, I'm sick of all the bullshit videos saying "BJJ guy beats Judo Black Belt" - It's absolute fucking bullshit. This stupid prick just got his ass ippon'd.

    JUDO FTW!

  • @steeeeker You would all be crushed if you go up against someone who knows the Norwegian Clam technique

  • Jiu jitsu is all about ground fight..... not takesdowns! :P

  • Comment removed

  • @Shoujoboy51 sorry but you seem you do not know much from BJJ !!! Let me tell you that every single move you make in Judo could belong to Jiu Jitsu, and 90 percent of Jiu Jitsu simply doesn't exist in Judo. And BJJ is descendant of japanese Ju-Jitsu as Judo is another one lighter.Last thing, you surely don't know anything about Ronaldo Jacaré or Roger Gracie, I think they could teach you strong stand up techniques if you want.......!!!

    Paz !

  • I'm a blue belt in BJJ, and I just wanted to say, That throw was SICK!!!!

  • hëhe_ÁÑý_guÿs_waÑt_tÕ_chât_wïth_më

  • guy in white looks like hitler

  • I study BJJ and Judo have Shodan in Judo. I have found that although BJJ had complemented my newaza skills, BUT BJJ in my opinion for self defense purposes is not effective. In addition, I like video's like this because some followers of BJJ need to be humbled every once in a while.

  • @daybreak79 BJJ is very effective unless your at a poor dojo.

  • people to stop these stupid street fight arguments. bjj is so much overkill for your average joe. realistically all you'll need to do is double leg and ground and pound. unless your the unlucky dude who runs into a group of 5 douchebags, in which case fuck any martial art, that's where sprinting and your cardio gets put to the test. and if you're really getting into all these bar fights you claim to be getting into, maybe you should stop going to the bar.

  • @willman808 i personally believe, and im sure that im not the only one... that if your faced with the situation of fighting any more than 2 guys at a time, then any extensive ground based martial art isnt going to help. For example..your fighting 3 guys..you may knock one out, and you try to do whatever you can to get the other guy on the floor. well you've still ot that 3rd guys whos gonna come over and kick your skull in.

  • @willman808 well said!!!!
