ok i figured it out. instead of ending the chorus with that Dmaj9b (or whatever it is... comes after D) just go to a G maj and then it can easily lead back into the verse.

i think the bridge should start with an Bmi.. the music is giving me a good story for the lyrics.

i'm having a problem with this chorus, which sucks becuase i really like it.

the verse starts down on the Emi so the song itself is rests on E, you know? you could end it on E and it would sound fine. but then the chorus comes in on D and changes the rest. as in getting back to the verse sounds awkward... because the chorus makes me want to rest on the D instead.

i mean, the chorus makes the song want to end on D instead of E. maybe something in between the two could sort out this problem
