I live in a whole different state from my parents. I have no idea where they are, but they are probably homeless and sick somewhere. I am a country girl at heart that loves free open space to run play and be myself and the wonders of nature, but i live in a city that is a tightly packed and claustrophobic sea of cement. Now i am all the more stronger for my upbringing and i don't let people bring me down or stop my dreams. I just stand up when i fall, dust myself off and keep going.
I don't have an illness, but I understand how you feel. I have always been a misfit (until now when I found the perfect high school,its too good to be true because people let you be yourself without judging you) and a nerd (I'm proud of it now) and I know how it can feel. I always look deeper into music for its deep meaning and often find an emotional connection to the music. My life is really messed up even though I have no illness. My mom has schizophrenia and my dad is an alcoholic.
I don't live with my parents. There is also a history of cancer and diabetes in my family, so I am always fearful that i will one day obtain one of my families illnesses and it will be hard for me to fit in all over again. I had to live with foster parents throughout my younger days and have only once stayed in the same school for one whole year because i am contently moving places. I grew up in a small mountain town where i learned to fend for myself because my parents wouldn't take care of me.
You are amazing. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. There are a lot of people in the world who try to make themselves feel better by bringing down the beautiful talented people such as yourself. Keep it up.You can do anything you put your mind to even conquering your illness, no matter how long it takes. I believe in you and I know there are lots of others out there like me who care.

@jemmahixon i see where your coming from on this, this was played at my sisters funeral, she felt so numb with all of the stress and bullying, the person who was bullying her is now being councilled, he attented the funeral but left it with two black eyes and a broken nose, this song is about compassion and showing your true self and not living up to anyone expectations. You nailed this song and i wish i could let my little sister hear it </3 :'(
you know, your voice isn't special or amazing,it's normal. good but not the best. it's the way you sing, that passion you give at siging that makes your voice become Gorgeous.
I think the music is very nice and I like it. But in the video, the problem is, ALL of you are looking into the camera. It would be better if you did, in your main frame, looked into the camera. And in the small frames you sing into the mic without caring for the camera.

@adambaish I can't help what my accent sounds like, i'm not going to change my accent to please others. I chose this particular piano arrangement myself, it isn't meant to be a rock version. I could churn out straight copycat karaoke covers, but i choose not to. Every cover i do, i make it my own and i specifically choose to do so. But thank you anyway everyone is entitled to their opinions. Just know this isnt an attempt at a version of Linkin Park's original, it is my own arrangement :) x

Good version, but the piano sounds an awful lot like the original version by an artist by the name of ModistOne or TheKen. You singing is good and I think it's a good version, but if it is the same piano track, I think he deserves some credit as well. Do a google search for TheKen.

@adambaish I can't help what my accent sounds like, i'm not going to change my accent to please others. I chose this particular piano arrangement myself, it isn't meant to be a rock version. I could churn out straight copycat karaoke covers, but i choose not to. Every cover i do, i make it my own and i specifically choose to do so. But thank you anyway everyone is entitled to their opinions. Just know this isnt an attempt at a version of Linkin Park's original, it is my own arrangement :) x

@adambaish P.s the song itself is hardly happy. I specifically choose my covers based on meaningful lyrics that represent my life and what i am going through. I'm not sure if you have read any of the press surrounding myself or my page but this final product represents me well.

@adambaish You really need to stop that, she has a lovely voice and everyone likes the way she sings.. considering she has 85 videos and she has roughly about 125,000 views on this i dont think you should be telling people what to do.

@adambaish Its better that she is making her own version and just copying the original. Its unique, it doesn't sound posh. Give her credit for actually having the motivation to make it into her own style.

Good attempt but not awesome. Sounds a bit edgy and ,,unpolished". It sounds a bit too linear...if u know what i mean. Try adding more power into it...the high notes....a bit higher and put more character in it. I'm sure it'll be very good. But congrats anyway. cheers

Good version, but the piano sounds an awful lot like the original version by an artist by the name of ModistOne or TheKen. You singing is good and I think it's a good version, but if it is the same piano track, I think he deserves some credit as well. Do a google search for TheKen.
