Hot chick says "That made a'lot of sense" . If the girl understood the socratic method, she would have concluded by asking another question. There is no end point or final answer in the socratic method. Just more questions. Like, "what is a number represent"? or "what are the implications of adding?" The guy explaining doesn't seem to get it either. He is only fishing for answers that the girl already has. This is dreadful. Completely opposite of socratic questioning.
@pickofthepatch computers only recognize two numbers...its called binary. or a binary number system...the only difference than ours is that they start over to the next column of numbers at 3. we dont start a new column until 10...but it is incorrect to think that they only can count to 2 and then cant understand anything beyond that. for them 1 is the same as our 1. 2 is the same as our 2, but then they start a column with 11 which is our 3... 12 = 4 ... 21 = 5 ...22 = 6 and so on
@KiaOra53 "No is doesn't make any sense. If you couldn't count you wouldn't know to say two then four pencils"
Wrong. You would have to say (the equivalent of) "two sets of two pencils, one set of two per hand" and if it were six pencils they might say "two sets of two pencils plus one set of two pencils."
She sounds so unimpressed with the pencil example ;)

Through my experience, it's more informal & substantial reading about the socratic method, rather than watching videos.

There is a tribe in South America that have no number above 2,so to them this question would be pointless.

Tedious, inefficient even, but not impossible.
